First, a quick update from last week. I tried two new recipes, both good. I liked both of them and Tim liked one of them. The crockpot lime chicken tacos were good and I’d have them again, but Tim said he preferred my regular salsa/taco seasoning recipe. I should have known better than to try something with lime. Tim generally doesn’t like citrus stuff in food. I know not to make orange or lemon flavored anything. I should have known better on the lime flavor 🙂 The crockpot Italian wedding soup (which I renamed crockpot MEATBALL soup so that Tim would try it), was good. I am going to make a few changes on it next time, to suit our tastes more. All in all, a really successful week.
This week is going to be less adventurous (no new recipes) and more in line with our new purchase over the weekend (See this post below to Ooh and Ahh at my new appliances and Tim’s new grill). I’m putting several things on the menu that Tim can grill out 😀
Finally, as always, thanks to Laura over at OrgJunkie for hosting this every week. Be sure to stop on over and check everyone’s menu!
Sunday – Loaded Potatoes
Monday – Spaghetti, tomato-basil breadsticks, salad
Tuesday – Grilled teriyaki pork chops, rice, green beans
Wednesday – Light Night before Tim weighs in – tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches
Thursday – Grilled Chicken, butter peas, potatoes
Friday – Steak Fajitas, pinto beans
Saturday & Sunday– TBD – Date Night or more Grilling Out!
Ooh yeah, more grilling out…fun! Loaded potatoes sounds good too.
Are you making the tomato basil breadsticks?
Yum, sounds like a great week at your house. I’m envious of all that grilled food you have planned! We are eating easy and fast this week!
Look at your fancy new grill! That should make for some yummy meals! Thanks for the birthday wishes!

Wonderful menu, we’ve been grilling a lot too 🙂
Sounds good! But spaghetti on the grill???
Maybe you can just have the citrus flavored foods when you eat out.
Menu sounds yummy.
I changed up the meatball soup too, added tomatoes and italian seasonings. It was good though. Your menu looks great!
Lots of grilling! What a good way to break that grill in! :o)
LOVE the new appliances, part of why we don’t go to Home Depot very often, who knows what we would come home with! Your menu looks great! Have a good week and have fun grilling….
Yummmmmmm grilled food! I’m so hungry right now! My throat is too swollen to eat! I guess I’ll have to have more ice cream. *sigh*

Yummy menu!!! Love all of your new appliances. Sorry I haven’t been around in a while. We’ve moved to California. Haven’t seen you around my blog lately, but I just posted about the whole trip. I’ve missed reading your blog and I’m so excited to be getting back in the groove of visiting everyone.
I made the pork chops tonight, everyone really liked them… I haven’t made the enchiladas yet.
Your menu looks great! We love to grill! I love your new appliances.
Have a great day tomorrow!
Well, I didn’t want Tim to like that anyway! 🙂 More for the rest of us when I get to come visit, right?
Those all sound yummy
Just a reminder the scavenger hunt starts in the morning
I chuckled out loud at “Meatball Soup”…sounds just like something I would have to do here. Only I would have to do it to get my kids to try it!
Rich doesn’t like anything citrus-y with his food either. In fact, nothing fruity at all. He thinks “sweet stuff” belongs only at dessert. Totally bums me out.
Your menu sounds quite yummy! Just reading Grilled Teriyaki Pork Chops got me drooling here…I think Baker’s rubbing off on me.
Gotta love those grill nights! We’re having one tonight – teriaki steaks. YUM. It tastes better when someone else has to cook ! LOL
Great menu, thanks for sharing it with us 🙂
Have a great week,
