Feast One Hundred & Thirty Two

OK, I realize I am excruciatingly late with this. 🙄 Sorry about that! My sister Gail and I have been out shopping all day and I haven’t had a chance to get anywhere near the computer. You can also check out my photo for today over on my Project365 blog. I just got it posted too.

Appetizer
Where on your body do you have a scar, and what caused it?
I have a tiny scar on my forehead that I got when I was very small, maybe 3 or 4. A brick fell on my head! 🙂 Yes, that’s what is wrong with me now 😀

Soup
What is something that has happened to you that you would consider a miracle?
That I finally found Tim 🙂

Salad
Name a television personality who really gets on your nerves.
First one that pops into my head is Kelly Ripa. I used to like her when she was on All My Children but now she grates on my last nerve. I absolutely cannot stand her.

Main Course
What was a funny word you said as a child (such as “pasketti” for “spaghetti”)?
I have absolutely, positively, no idea!

Dessert
Fill in the blank: I have always thought ______ was ______.
I have always thought chocolate was a necessity in life!

  1. Susie Said,

Your Appetizer answer cracks me up. 😀

I’m afraid if Kelly Ripa and Rachael Ray ever got in the same room, I think it would explode with bubble overload.

And of course I agree with you on your dessert! 😛

  2. Raggedy Said,

A brick! I hope it was a red one and not one of those big concrete ones. I am glad you are okay.
I am glad you found your Tim!
As for your dessert. pass those chocolates..yummmm
    Great Friday Feast!
    My feast is served.
    Have a wonderful day!

  3. paperback writer Said,

    Great feast!

  4. Kim Said,

A brick…that’s funny. I took a spill off the end of a driveway, fell about 8 feet and got knocked out cold. That’s my excuse for most anything I do! I’m reading a Wanda Brunstetter book now…you are going to have to check out some of her books.

  5. Angie Said,

I had no idea Gail was your sister – how neat! I made the meatball soup last Friday and it was really tasty but greasy with just the hamburger. Be sure to use really lean hamburger. I don’t think mine was lean – I just grabbed some from the freezer.

  6. amy Said,

I agree with Susie! Neat blog this week!

  7. JHS Said,

Lots of people are mentioning Kelly Ripa. Poor Kelly! (She’s not my favorite, either, but she’s better than the one before, Kathy what’s-her-name).

  8. Stacy Said,

    I love your dessert! That’s a great answer and I agree 100%

  9. Jen Said,

Kelly doesn’t bother me that much for some reason. I think she is pretty funny sometimes. She does need to gain a few pounds, though.

I agree wholeheartedly about chocolate being a necessity. I thought for a minute about giving it up for Lent, but then I realized that I’m much too weak for that kind of sacrifice (kidding, but still).

  10. Judi Said,

right there with you on the salad and dessert.

  11. Dianne Said,

Funny answers – especially about the brick! and chocolate!!

  12. Southern Girl Said,

Ooo, I can’t stand Kelly Ripa! Especially after she was mean to my Boyfriend! 😉

  13. Gail Said,

Even after we talked about this last night, I’m still not recalling the brick incident too good! We all remember different things from our childhood and you probably don’t remember much of what happened to me either!

And of course I agree with you about chocolate!

  14. rach Said,

Oh my, a brick fell on your head. Glad you didn’t have any bad injury. It must have been scary for you and your parents. But it’s nice that you can look back and actually laugh about it.

I agree with you about the chocolates. I even thought it was a lifeline of sorts. 🙂

    Happy Sunday!

  15. kailani Said,

How in the world did a brick fall on your head? Did someone throw it at you?

  16. Debi Said,

Great feast, Stacy! I wanted to dine on that one, too, but never got a chance. Maybe I’ll play late.
And I’m so with you on the Kelly Ripa thing! Can’t quite explain it, but she just grates on my nerves.

  17. Cam Said,

I meant to play this one but never had time to do it. I may do it anyway, though.

    I like your miracle!

And I don’t care for Kelly Ripa too much either.

  18. Jenny A. Said,

I enjoyed your feast, too, a few days late. Thanks for looking at my 363 blog (I’m 2 days off, from the full 365). Anyway, your brick story reminded me of a time my cousin threw a brick adn it hit my granny’s dog, but I covered for him, saying it ws an accident. I didn’t want him to get in trouble! Now I’m off to see your 365 blog!

  19. Shawna Said,

    Really a brick?!!

I like Kelly! She’s overthetop sometimes, and I can see why some people may find her annoying! I actually like her better than Regis!

  20. jen Said,

Good answers….I always forget about this……
