Exceedingly Mundane

I saw this at Big Orange Michael’s blog last week sometime. Since I’ve been in such a revved-up, high-level Star Wars mood since last week, I thought it was a good time to do this one! 😀

The movie meme game

1) Total number of films I own on DVD/video: Well, the DVD collection on Hambones shows 92 DVD’s. We also own some on video, although we’ve been slowly trying to dub those to DVD. That number reflects each of my trilogies as one (each of the 3 extended editions of Lord of the Rings, plus my original Star Wars trilogy).

2) The last film I bought: National Treasure

3) The last film I watched: The last one we watched at home was Taxi (rental) this past weekend, plus 2 Star Wars movies. The last movie we saw at the theatre was this past weekend, my beloved Star Wars episode 3 – Revenge of the Sith.

Onesome: Full — Full? What meal fills you up the most during your day, breakfast, lunch or dinner? …or is it the ice cream you’re digging into as you wander around the blog world long past when you should be asleep ?

Probably dinner, just because it’s my biggest meal. Breakfast is usually cereal and juice, lunch is either leftovers or yogurt and fruit, or maybe a Boca or Morningstar thingie-mabob. Dinner is our “big” meal.

Twosome: Moon — Do you really think there’s any truth to the popular idea that “things” happen when the moon is full? Come on, it’s just us here…

No, but I know that Fred is convinced that it’s a better time to go fishing!

Threesome: Rising– …and shining?: What is your normal wakeup time on Thursday mornings? …and can you be described as a “Morning Person” or not?

My normal wake-up time on most any day is about 6 or 7 AM, roll over and look at the clock and hopefully go back to sleep! I’m definitely not a morning person. Never have been. Just ask Tim – I used to have a sign at work that I would put out in the mornings if I didn’t want anyone to speak to me! 😀

1. Do You Go To The Movies Or Wait For The DVD?: We do some of both… I prefer to see “big screen” kind of movies at the theatre, like Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Spiderman, Troy, etc. Tim would go all the time, if I would go with him. Most of them, I can wait till it comes out on DVD.

2. At The Concession Stand Do You Get Popcorn or Candy?: Popcorn and a Coke (or Diet Coke)

3. Whats The Last Movie You Saw At The Theatre?: Probably Hitch last February, with Gail & Don. But, hopefully, we’re going this weekend (or next) to see Star Wars

1. Do You Get Along With All Of Your Siblings?: I think so, you might have to ask them!

2. Did You Fight As Children?: No, they were so much older. They left for college when I was like 5 or 6

3. What’s The Worst Thing You Ever Did To Your Bro/Sis?:Hmm, I thought I was the poster child for a perfect younger sibling (cough, cough). I’m sure they will pipe up with something, probably lots of somethings, since I can’t come up with anything! 😀

4. What’s The Worst Thing They Ever Did To You?: OK, I have this overwhelmingly distinct memory of getting up in the middle of the night when I was really little, after having a bad nightmare, and going to Suzie’s room. I wanted to sleep with her because I was so scared. Suzie grumbled and told me to leave her alone, so I went and asked Gail to sleep with her, which she let me do! 🙂 I have told this story many times before and neither one of them seem to remember it, but I do!

5. How Often Do You See Them?: Not often enough. We see Gail fairly often, but only get to see Suzanne once or twice a year, whenever she can fly home. Maybe she’ll come back again soon!

1) What is your birthday, what time were you born, what astrological sign are you, and what city and state were you born in? October 18, I was born on a Sunday morning, not sure of the exact time. (You know, being a Sunday baby makes me an angel!). I’m a Libra, and a textbook one – justice, equality, symmetry, balance, all totally me. I was born in Jackson, MS.

2) Are there any famous events or famous people that share your special day? I have no idea. I could Google it I guess, but I won’t.

3) What did you do to celebrate your last birthday? Tim took me to the mountains, which was very close to what I had been wanting for a year to do when I turned 40 (I wanted to go to Vermont or New Hampshire to do the bed and breakfast and leaf peeping thing, but we went to Gatlinburg instead, still an amazing, wonderful time for both of us).

4) What is your best birthday celebration that you can remember? Going to the mountains last year with Tim is the best birthday I can ever remember having.

5) What is the best birthday present you have ever received? See #4 above 😀 After that, it would probably be the TRUCK Tim bought me the year before, for my birthday! 😛

1. Do You Eat The Bread Brought Out Before Your Meal?: Oh my yes. I am a total carb loader, and fresh bread is next to impossible for me to turn down. No self-control, whatsoever.

2. Pretzels or Cheez-Its?: Hmmm, not big on either of those, but I can and would certainly eat both! No preference though

3. Do You Add Crackers To Your Soup?: I usually only have crackers with chili, for some reason. Sometimes I add them to the soup, but most of the time I just have them with it. For most other soups, I’d rather have homemade bread.

4. Turkey Sandwich: On A Wrap /or/ On Bread?: If I’m eating out, I’d rather have a wrap. If I’m fixing at home, more than likely I would just do bread (always have that on hand and rarely have tortillas or pita or flatbread on hand)
