Well, for those of you who know Tim, know that once he sets his mind to something, that’s it. Period. End of story. 😆
Less than 2 hours after we left, we now have a new toy:
We have a DVD recorder that I bought Tim for Christmas a year and a half ago. It has not performed up to our standards. It did great at the beginning, and we were very happy with it. The last few months, it is almost unusable. It will hardly, if ever, record, and half the time it won’t play. Now, granted, we mostly use it for recording, and we kept our 5 disc changer for playing movies, but still. You want the thing to at least work.
So, with football season upon us (our alma mater plays tonight and the Saints first game is tomorrow at noon), Tim realized the gravity of the situation and that he could not live without a new one. So, off we went, and less than two hours later, we’re home and have it hooked up. Here’s Tim with his new toy:
Way to go Tim! Smart guy!
He fixed our stuff up and now, alas, we aren’t smart enough to figure again how to do what he told us to! 😳
