Feast One Hundred & Ninety Six
July 11th, 2008
Appetizer
When was the last time you had your hair cut/trimmed? Last week. Every five weeks, like clockwork. I make the appointment for the next visit before I leave the salon.
Soup
Name one thing you miss about being a child. The anticipation of things like summer vacation and Christmas. They held a magic then that I just can’t reproduce now
Salad
Pick one: butter, margarine, olive oil. Butter ๐
Main Course
If you could learn another language, which one would you pick, and why? I’d have to say Spanish. Tim’s brother just remarried two weeks ago and my new sister-in-law is Hispanic. She doesn’t speak much English yet. We have a huge communication gap and I really wish I spoke Spanish. I’m trying to learn a few words, but it is still very hard to communicate.
Dessert
Finish this sentence: In 5 years I expect to beรขโฌยฆ Alas, STILL five years older than Tim. He never seems to catch up ๐
your last answer cracked me up.
I’m thinking we all need to learn spanish to keep up!
Maybe Tim will catch up one day!
And that probably doesn’t surprise me that you make a hair appt before you leave and that you go every 5 weeks like clockwork, a creature of habit, eh!
Or as Suzie would say, you’re “routinized”……I don’t think I know how to spell her word!
I like olive oil and dont think I could live without it. And I’m the same way with my hair every 6 weeks…clockwork…making the appointment before I walk out the door…
Christmas is such a wonderful time! isn’t it nice to reminisce our younger years? mine’s up too at this link!
LOL at your last answer.
Too bad you can’t make Tim catch up! LOL
I agree with you on the butter. Can’t live without it.
You are just like me on the hair appts. I was every 5, moved back to every 4 and just last night went back to 5. I always make the appt. on the way out. Smart.
lol!
Butter is always better!
Mmmmmmmmm butter! ๐
I wish I was like you with the hair appointments…I could use one now.
I’ve missed hanging out here! ๐
I wish I could be so organized with my appointments:( What a great opporutnity to learn Spanish with your new sister-in-law. Go for it!
I am the same way about my haircuts! I schedule the next while I am standing there. Every other appointment, I also get highlights. We did find a way to adjust my cut so I can make it 7-8 weeks now instead of 5! My wallet thanks me, both for the cost of the cut and the gas it takes to travel 50 miles to the stylist I actually trust.
