On a scale of 1-10 (with 10 being highest), how much do you know about the history of your country? Hopefully, it’s at least a 7!

Have you ever been in or near a tornado? We had a tornado touch down in a subdivision just a few miles from our house a few years ago. Very scary.
Amanda’s boyfriend is a history major. He watches the history channel a lot! Poor Amanda π
Just curious…why don’t you like Scotland? That’s someplace I’d love to go!
I’m with you on the appetiser. Your dessert sounds very scary!
Have a good weekend π

Debi – duh! I used the wrong word. Scotland is my first choice, not my last!
Australia was my choice!
I love your answers!
If you want a laugh, go read my answer to my Main Course! And yes it was the truth last night!
Ok, I wondered about Debi’s comment! Now it makes sense with yours…I knew you loved Scotland!
Maybe I should get Liz to quiz you on history to see how you rate! She might be tired of history right now though. π
I am SO not a history person. However, I have been VERY near a tornado TWICE! One was in, oh 1991-ish. I was at Camp Wahi (the girl scout camp) in Brandon when there was a huge tornado. I had gone to bed early (yes, I was THAT girl) and when they heard the sirens go off…they left me UNDER A WINDOW! I woke up and no one was in the room…I found them all in the bathroom on matresses.
The next time was this year when the tornado hit Ridgeland/Jackson. I was at the Jackson Country Club and basically watched it start but didnt actually see the storm. We all moved into the hallway!
hi Stacy!
before homeschooling I probably would have gotten a 2 on our country’s history – isn’t that sad? Now (as long as they don’t want exact dates!) I’d probably get a 7 too. Much improved!
Sherry
I was very near the tornado that touched down in Nashville. I haven’t looked at storms the same since!
Awww, your main course is such a happy answer. =)
Oops, I posted too soon. I also meant to say that I will take hurricanes over tornados any day. I hate that you get almost no warning about a tornado!
I think my first choice would be Europe (my parents were born in Germany and Yugoslavia) and second choice would be South America!
