What was your favorite cartoon when you were a child? Ah, here we go again with having to remember stuff from childhood. I don’t remember much, but I do remember liking “The Jetsons”. I think there was another one, Land Before Time or something, Tim and I have talked about watching that show. I don’t think it was a cartoon though.
Soup
Pretend you are about to get a new pet. Which animal would you pick, and what would you name it? I just got a new pet a year and a half ago! I would get the same, a golden retriever or lab or a mix of the two. I would have to figure out a new name for this one, it took me a while to decide on Beau (short for Beauregard) for our current doggie.
Salad
On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest, how much do you enjoy getting all dressed up for a special occasion? Ugh, maybe a 2 or a 3?! 🙂

Dessert
When was the last time you bought a clock? And in which room did you put it? We bought one last year for our den. Larger than the last one. It took a while to find one we both liked!

Too funny, Stace, I can’t remember much either. I completely forgot the Jetsons. Love them! My son used to watch Land Before Time. You are much younger than me!

Country? I have never really liked country music. I’m not sure why…
I don’t think it’s Land Before Time you’re thinking of. Those are animated shows about dinosaurs, but more recent than when we were kids. But I think I might know the show you’re talking about…could it be Land of the Lost? Go to this spot and scroll down to that show and you can see if that’s it. Sorry, you just got me all excited…I hadn’t thought of that show in 30+ years, and I really loved it as a kid!
I loved Jetson’s, too, along with Flintstones and Archies. And when I was really little it was Davey and Goliath (although that wouldn’t be considered a cartoon) and the ones with Augy Daddy and that bunch. Can’t remember their names now.
I loved the Land of the Lost, too, but I have seen clips of it recently—it’s not as great as I remember it was!

I liked “Land Before Time” way back when, too, and it seems like I saw the opening to it on something not long ago. I was struck by how FAKE it looked to me now. 😉

I loved the Jetsons too. I don’t remember a whole lot of cartoons. More prime time TV comes to mind. I don’t like the idea of dressing up but once I get started, I get into it. I usually don’t wear much make-up so it always seems like such a chore to pile it on.
