Let’s see… last week I talked briefly about how I am really NOT in a cooking mood. That hasn’t changed! For whatever reason, I seem to be tired of making the meals I normally make, and unmotivated to look for, plan and try out any new recipes. Go figure 😀 Oh well, we have to eat, so I’ll put something together 🙄 This week’s planned meals may or may not happen. I’m not making any promises!!! 😀
As always, thanks to Laura at OrgJunkie for organizing and hosting this each week!
Sunday – we had Hamburgers, oven fries, Pizza Dip, tortilla chips
Monday – Crockpot Chicken Santa Fe over leftover chips (Tim) and over brown rice (me); Guacamole, chips
Tuesday – Waffles, Turkey Bacon
Wednesday – Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese
Thursday – Saucy Honey Dijon Chicken, orzo, green beans
Friday – Spaghetti, Broccoli, Crescent Rolls
Saturday – Date Night or Pizza or take-out Chinese
The chicken sounds so good! I’m gong to have to try that one.
So have you enjoyed this fall weather. I got down right excited Saturday morning when I walked out time. You can tell it’s time for the fair! Fingers crossed we’re done with the triple digits!
I get like that sometimes….very normal gal.
Looks great!!!
Mmmm…you might not be inspired, but you inspired me! Maybe I’ll just swap out your menu for mine!
Ummm…I think I said that backwards…what I mean is I want to make your menu instead of my own!
Yummy menu!
it all sounds good to me! YUM!
Yep you were right when you commented about saying the same thing! I just don’t feel in the mood to cook at all! Or really for anything.
But yum, I want that guacamole ALL to myself!
I almost put that dijon chicken on for last week but since I was inspired for nothing it’s on the back burner!
I’ve made your chicken sante fe and it was delish! Hmmm, maybe that will be on my next weeks menu!
*Check out my big blog announcement
I have been in a hate-to-cook, hate-to-decide mood since late last yr. Don’t know what happend to me. I think it’s the fact that there are three adults in my home and I have to be the one to make the decision and put it on the table. My dh cooks on the grill sometimes but I’m still the one deciding, thawing, marinating, cutting veggies, setting the table. Ugh…I don’t blame you a bit!
It all sounds great and at least if you don’t get it all made you have a plan for next week, right?!?!
Sounds good, Stacy. I’m funky this week. I made my menu plan and even went grocery shopping, but for some reason, I don’t have the umph to post it this week, LOL. How strange is that?!
Looks like a great menu! You are one step ahead of me! I haven’t even TRIED to put one together. I would be fine with peanut butter sandwiches for the next month. 🙂
Hey Stacy! I am with you on the lack of motivation to cook. I have a tentative meal plan for the week, but it’s really pretty pitiful. My poor girls will probably live on Happy Meals for the first few weeks after Stephen leaves.
I have so many books to talk about when I get back around to blogging normally. It looks like you’ve read some good ones lately. Catch up with you soon.
ooh pizza dip, I have a great recipee for that -always a favorite at my parties.
Once again your waffles always sound like a great idea- I still need to try that.
I am not a big cook so I quite understand the motivational issues but..I live vicariously through you menus so I wish you your motivation back 🙂
Waffles and turkey bacon–right up my alley! I love breakfast for supper!
YUMMY, sorry I’m so late, I’m still trying to catch up on all the menu plan participants LOL
