Feast One Hundred & Fifty Eight
August 31, 2007

Appetizer
Who is the easiest person for you to talk to?
No question about it, that would be my husband 🙂

Soup
If you could live in any ancient city during the height of the quality of its society and culture, which one would you choose?
I don’t really know, maybe Athens or Rome.

Salad
What is the most exciting event you’ve ever witnessed?
I can’t think of anything! I’m sure most everyone will answer this question “the birth of my child”, but alas, no kiddos for us.

Main Course
If you were a celebrity, what would you do for a publicity stunt?
Well, I have no wish to be any kind of celebrity. I think the kind of people who strive for that type of life are drawn to the spotlight and often do all sorts of crazy things to keep their name and face out there. I wish more of them would have more dignity about what they do and how they draw attention to themselves. It goes against the grain, though, I guess. Oh, well, let’s see — to answer the question, no publicity stunts here. I’d be quiet and respectful and try to stay out of the limelight.

Dessert
What do you consider the ideal age to have a first child?
About 25 or 26.

  1. mamichelle Said,

I totally agree on your main course! Nice feast, Stacy!

    Have a great weekend.

  2. Coach J Said,

Stacy, I’m sorry you’ve not been able to have children. And those were exciting events in my life, but for this feast, I would have to say “The day I was driving through B’ham, AL on I65 North, and a car BLEW UP!! BTW, the driver was fine.”
Pretty exciting stuff for this sheltered life of mine. Nothing like that ever happens here.

  3. Jenny A. Said,

Our answers were so similar! 😉

Enjoyed your feast! Maybe I can get around to visiting the 365 blogs sometime this weekend!

  4. paperback writer Said,

Yeah, I said my husband was the easiest person to talk to. He understands “Paperback Writer” language.

  5. Momma Said,

So true about the Salad. This was a tough one!

  6. And Miles To Go.... Said,

wow, wonderful answers this week!! What a well thought out main course!

  7. jen Said,

I would love to live back in the 1920’s…I know the Depression went on but I love the way they lived and loved back then. I was 22 when I had Madison..but married at 19. It seems so young now. I hope you have a great Labor Day weekend gal.

  8. JennaG Said,

Liked your answers, Stacy. I agree about the whole celebrity thing. If I were to choose to be a celebrity–I would pick a christian celebrity like Beth Moore or something. You know she doesn’t have to deal with the crowds–the huge numbers of fans, but still enjoys a nice level of celebrity-dom. Know what I mean?

  9. Laura Said,

I think watching Air Force One qualifies for me. But not this last time… a few times before, when we stood at the end of the runway and watched it taxi and take off over our heads. I’m a total dorkus.

    *hugs*

  10. Gail Said,

Rome would be cool but I don’t think I could do “ancient” times too good…..there’s a reason I was born in these times!
Publicity stunt? That would stump me……unfortunately I don’t think she does it for a stunt but Britney seems to do such stupid things to me lately. Have you seen her latest? Can anyone be that dumb?

  11. Claire Said,

I think Rome would be pretty good, too. Person I talk easiest to is my mom right now. Hopefully, it’ll be someone else soon…but I’m being patient! 🙂 I think one of the most exciting things I’ve seen recently is the removal of a chest mass following by reinflating of the child’s lung to normal…it was SOOOOO cool.

  12. Carrie Said,

Bravo! Bravo! Your main course is soooooooo right on!

  13. theresa Said,
