Feast One Hundred & Fifty Seven

Appetizer
Say there’s a book written about your life. Who would you want to narrate the audio version? Well, I’m assuming it would need to be a female voice, but the only one that came to mind (and Tim helped me with this) is Jamie Lee Curtis. It’s funny, though, a male voice pops right into my head. Tim and I were talking the other day about Dennis Hasbert – the guy who played President David Palmer on 24, and is on The Unit now. He also narrates the Allstate commercials – he has a rich, deep voice, sort of like James Earl Jones.

Soup
Take the letters from your favorite kind of nut and write a sentence. (Example: Perhaps every avenue needs understanding today.) People eat candy and nuts 🙂

Salad
If you could go back in time and spend one week in another decade, which decade would you choose? Ooh, I’d probably pick the 40’s. Something about the WWII area has always fascinated me.

Main Course
Name a song that brings back memories for you. Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton

Dessert
Do you prefer to wash your hands in cold water or warm water? Totally depends on the time of year. I do not like to wash my hands in cold water when it’s winter and cold. In the summer though, I like it quite well! Of course, warm works year round for me 🙂

    I think I’d go back to pre-Civil war era, just because I want to see all the antebellum houses that existed and see my town before the war. I know I would not like the social behavior of having slaves, and that would break my heart to witness that firsthand. But, I’d still go back there first-if I had a choice.

    Hasbert does have a good voice, we’ve noticed that before too….radio voice I usually call them!
    And the 40’s I might could do, I’m fascinated by war stuff too and there were still some conveniences then! Oh wait, it said one week so that makes it easier! I like Jenny’s answer of civil war time too, but a week is about as long as I could last.
