Feast One Hundred & Fifty Five

Appetizer
What is your favorite kind of pie? Ooh, either cherry or a chocolate cream pie. Yum!

Soup
Name something that made you smile this week. Tim. He always makes me smile. He can be silly and funny and he’s always making me laugh.

Salad
What do you do to cool off when the weather is hot and humid? Stay inside in the AC!

Main Course
You receive $1,000 in the mail with a letter that says you can only use the money to redecorate one room in your home. Which room do you pick, and what do you buy to spruce it up? My kitchen, and I’d get a new stove/oven (range).

Dessert
Fill in the blank: My _________ says __________, but I __________. My husband says he is going to go play golf this afternoon, but I think he’s crazy! It’s supposed to be over 100º here today, and for the next 5-6 days. I think it’s nutso to go out in the sun for 4+ hours in the hottest part of the day to hit a little white ball. Ugh.

    I can’t even imagine playing anything outside in this heat! I’ve told my kids that the only thing we can do outside is swim. Hopefully, it will cool down soon!

    It was so hot here this morning I left Walmart and walked just a few steps holding lil Miller and was sweating…….another day in paradise.

    Oh how I hope your husband changs his mind! That’s just too hot to be out there. Now I will worry about him until you let us know he’s okay! I’m like that.

    My hubby always makes me laugh too. He will make a fool out of himself to make me laugh! I love that about him.

    Yeah, I would like to at least go to the driving range. My clubs have not seen use since before I got married (about 6 years now), We had records the past two days here of 103 and 102 in Atlanta.

    Oh my–where do you all live????? You should be up here in the great northwest with me–it has been in the 70’s all week and I think today it will be in the 80’s–with NO humidity! We talk about moving but I would sure miss our climate.
    I hope your husband is alright Stacey. I can’t imagine even wanting to be out in weather like that. I hope you stay cool and hydrated today!

    Great Feast. 🙂 I liked your dessert. I would think playing in 100 degree weather is a bit much. But some people are really dedicated to their sport. 🙂
