Menu Plan Monday

Menu Planning Monday

Last week’s menu included a couple of new recipes (that I posted about here). Both were hits in our house, so on the strength of that, I thought I’d be brave and pick out a couple more new recipes to try. Here’s hoping they work for us too!

As always, thanks to Laura, for hosting this every week!

Monday – new recipe for a Beef and Noodle Bake (I’m going to try it with whole wheat egg noodles), corn, broccoli

Tuesday – another new recipe, this one as seen over at Laura (Org Junkie’s blog) – Crockpot Sweet and Sour Pork Chops, rice, green beans

Wednesday – Light Night before Tim weighs in – Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup

Thursday Chicken-Olive Calzones

Friday – Fish Sandwiches, oven fries, coleslaw

Saturday – Date Night or Pizza

Mmmmm. That Chicken-Olive Calzone sounds so good. Let me know how it turns out. Fish sandwich huh? You know I don’t like fish, but I love fish-filets from McDonald’s – although, I’m guessing the one you are making wont’ be like the one from McDonald’s.

  2. And Miles To Go.... Said,

those calzones sound so good!! YUM. Have a great week.

You totally just made me want a Grilled Cheese & Tomato sandwich. LOL! Maybe next week. I will have to remember to build it into my menu plan.

  5. Gail Said,

Yeah, what kind of fish sandwiches! Is it using that parmesan tilapia like we both got? I’m wondering if Tim liked them and I think Elizabeth might like them too, even though she doesn’t like fish!

  6. Sparky Duck Said,

Oh, I make something just like this with cold cuts. But, I am always looking for new calzone fillings, awesome!

  7. Mandalyn Said,

I love calzones!! Those sound wonderful!

We always stay in PF, too. For the whole family to go at Christmas, we had to get out of PF and G’burg to afford a big enough cabin! It’s so expensive at Christmas! I love to vacation up there. It’s one of my favorite places!

  8. Carrie Said,

I would love the beef and noodle bake–my hubby isn’t a big pasta fan, though, so I rarely make it. Sounds wonderful to me! Great menu plan.

  14. Lynne Said,

  15. Judi Said,
