Eeks – gas is up to 2.09 a gallon everywhere here. I was all over the place today shopping – on Lakeland Drive, on Hwy 51, on County Line, it was 2.09 at almost every place. My car still has about a half a tank, but Tim’s gas guzzling 4 wheel drive pickup needs gas.

High here too, I paid 2.05 for it in Yazoo City, because I couldn’t find it lower anywhere in Jackson! And it is 2.05 at the cheapest place in Indianola (we only have 3 or 4 places!) and 2.07 at the others. When will this end! I did so want to keep my suburban for a long time! Maybe we should look at those hybrid cars or whatever they are!

You guys have nothing to complain about. I saw a sign yesterday 2.45. I am going to get gas this weekend so I expect to pay above $2.33…that’s what I have been seeing. More later.
