Appetizer
What do you consider to be the ultimate snack food?
As much as I love chocolate anything, I think popcorn is probably the ultimate snack. I know it’s a definite for me when we go to the movies, and I like to pop some at home when we watch movies, too. Good stuff. Sometimes, I actually do crave something salty and not sweet! 🙂

Soup
On a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 as highest), about how popular is your last name?
Gosh, not very. Neither my maiden name nor my married name are popular at all, maybe a 2. The problem with both of them is that people tend to misspell them. 🙁

Salad
Who is your all-time favorite sitcom character, and why?
I like several of the characters on Friends, but I always really loved Jamie and Paul on “Mad About You” 😀

Main Course
Do you shop online? If so, name some sites you like to browse for goodies.
I do a ton more browsing than actual shopping. I do the majority of buying from Amazon. It’s just so easy and they have so much of what I’m interested in ordering online (usually books and kitchen items)

Dessert
Fill in the blank: I think ___________ should be ___________.
Hmm, we could go a lot of directions with this. How about “I think The View should be canceled”. “I think Paris Hilton should be completely ignored”. “I think chocolate should be named one of the essential food groups”. 🙂

  2. Simply Dawn Said,

You mean chocolate is not already one of the essential food groups….hmmmmm i just love chocolate and can’t wait for this weekend for the ultimate girls weekend and non stop chocolate (fat free of course) hehe

    Have a great weekend.

  3. And Miles To Go.... Said,

funny, I never see many mad about you reruns!! Great feast.

  4. Carrie Said,

LOL @ The View! The only one of them I like is Elizabeth. I just adored her when she was on Survivor, but wish she wouldn’t have *stooped* to such a …. what’s the word?? … kinda show.

  5. Coach J Said,

I’ve ebaying alot lately. That’s a pretty good site if you know what you want! And since I homeschool, I can get some good deals on books.
My last name’s not that popular either 🙂 So if telemarketers can’t pronounce it, I get to hang up. There’s a benefit for ya!

  6. paperback writer Said,

    Nachos.

    🙂

  7. Susie Said,

Oh, I adored “Mad About You”! It was one of my favorites ever. The last episode made me cry.

And I totally agree with all of the answers on your Dessert! 🙂

    Happy Friday, Stacy.

  8. Amy Said,

The View should be cancelled. It’s definitely a show I would skip if I were flipping.

  9. Susanne Said,

I’ll take some of all the desserts you mentioned!

  10. Becca Said,

You have to try this recipe it is soooo good!

Popcorn with Parmesan and Pecorino Recipe courtesy Giada De Laurentiis

    1/2 cup popcorn kernels
    4 tablespoons butter, melted
    1/4 cup grated Parmesan
    1/4 cup grated Pecorino Romano

Pop the popcorn using a large, heavy pot with a tight-fitting lid or a popcorn maker.
Coat the bottom of the pot with vegetable oil and heat over low heat. Drop in 1 kernel of corn and when it pops add the remaining corn, cover and shake pan. Continue to shake pan until all the corn has popped, being careful not to burn.

Place the popped popcorn in a large bowl. Drizzle with the melted butter and sprinkle with the cheeses. Toss gently to combine and serve immediately.

Let me know if you like this, Mitch loves it!

  11. Debi Said,

Oh, I love Jamie and Paul, too!

  12. Southern Girl Said,

I’m with you on canceling “The View”! On the other hand, after reading so many Friday’s Feasts, I think I must be one of the few people there who just isn’t all that crazy about popcorn. 😉

  13. Sparky Duck Said,

Im with you on unpopular last names, though since I have 2 nephews on my brothers side, it will continue in all its mispelled/mispronounced glory

  14. trista Said,

Popcorn is one of my fave snacks too! Alan will pop the real stuff (not microwave, but the kernels in butter/oil over the stove) for me when we are gonna have a movie night at home. He has also been sweet enough to stop by the local theatre (in my current prego condition), and go in and buy me a huge bucket of the “real” stuff! LOVE IT!

I don’t like where the View has gone lately, so I agree to that, and the entire Hilton fiasco is just like a train wreck.

    Have a great weekend!

  15. Cam Said,

Oh I agree with your last one totally! And the first one, too.

  16. Amy Said,

Thanks for your comments about my precious baby (dog)! You know what’s sad? I have more pictures of her on my phone than I do the kids! I can’t help it~bulldogs are just so ugle they’re cute, ya know? I could have gone on and on with all the things she knows. I truly never knew that animals were this smart. I love meeting other people that love their pets as much as we do. God gave us these wonderful creatures to take care of and nothing gets me more hoppin’ mad than cruelty to animals and children of course. And let’s not forget the elderly. Now I am just rambling!

And yes, popcorn is the BESTEST ever! Love the stuff. We actually went to the movies last night and I resisted since I am trying to lose weight. It wasn’t easy, but when Brad Pitt and George Clooney came on the screen I didn’t give popcorn a second thought! I still needed a napkin though because I was drooling ;o)

  17. Kara Said,

The library run thing is just a 5k/10k run that the Friends of the Library here put on every year to raise money. I am the Friends treasurer, so I love the dollars that come in for this event!
