For whatever reason, I’m feeling really uninspired the last day or so about cooking and planning menus. Blah. This might evolve over the course of the week, if I can find my cooking mojo! 🙂
As always, thanks to Laura over at OrgJunkie for hosting this every week. Be sure to stop on over and check everyone’s menu – there are lots of great ones posted over there.
Sunday – rumien (ramen noodles on steroids, we add rice, eggs, tons of seasonings and cheese)
Monday – Quesadillas, black beans and corn
Tuesday – Grilled Chicken (Tim)/ Grilled Salmon (me), sesame green beans, couscous
Wednesday – Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese
Thursday – Crockpot Four Beans and Sausage, cornbread muffins
Friday – Date Night or Pizza
Saturday/Sunday – family and holiday stuff going on
Have a wonderful week and a blessed Easter everyone 😀
I am feeling very uninspired too! Wonder if I can change mine to tomato soup and grilled cheese one night, it might make the week easier. And would those be my sesame green beans?! Or a different recipe…..we looooove those!
Are you coming for Easter, are you huh huh?
Sounds like you have enough *umph* to make a good menu. This week’s menu sounds yummy!! :o)
Sunday – pizza with the in-law’s
Monday – burgers stuffed with bleu cheese
Tuesday – free night (We’re going to see Sweet Charity!)
Wednesday – Tuna pasta
Thursday – I forget
Friday – same
Saturday – my parents are coming that day.
Yum–the grilled chicken sounds good–that may be what I put on the grill tonight! I get the blahs about cooking sometimes too! Everything sounds great on your menu–hey, you could always just go to Sonic!
Everything sounds good! I’ve got a pot of spaghetti sauce and meatballs cooking right now for tonight – I have no idea for the rest of the week. I really should try to make up a menu for the entire week at a time. It would be so much easier!
you are a creative cook! I wish i as creative as you. everything sounds yummy..wish i could do it
Uninspired or not, it all sounds mighty good to me!
sounds good to me! Hope your week starts looking up!
Hi. I really like your blog. Was wondering if you want to add it to my directory? Thanks Shelly

Hi, Stacy,
Sounds alot like the things we’d serve around our house. I love grilled salmon, especailly since Summer’s coming, we’ll be firing up the grill. The kids like grilled cheese and me and my husband have the tomato soup. My husband would love the 4bean and Sausage meal, sounds delicious.
BTW, you were the first person I thought of when it came to nominating 5 people for this award.
Happy Monday!
Hi Stacey! Thanks for coming by my site earlier … you asked if I had tried some of the recipes I had listed on my blog. We’ve had the ground beef gyro (freezer meal/saving dinner) before and it’s excellent. The pork chop dish and the one from Taste of Home will both be new to us this week so hopefully they are both winners as well. 🙂 Busy Cooks’ is a great cookbook and most of the recipes are fairly healthy. I’ve really enjoyed them.
Your menu reminds me that I need to make quesadillas soon. That sounds good! 🙂
great plan, but I will substitute chicken soup for tomato soup when I come by wednesday
I love couscous. I need to do that soon. Oh and that yummy four beans and sausage. Good stuff. Maybe you are in a funk because you didn’t get shoes like Gail’s. 🙂
Hey Stace! It has been ages. Long story! I am trying to get back into the swing of things at my new blog. We shall see how it goes. Your menu plan for this week is much more inspired than mine. I am the world’s worst about making and/or sticking to a plan.
Well for being uninspired it’s all making my mouth water!
Stacy,
This is probably a dumb question. Tell me how to send an email through hambones. I went to the member list and the email is the jam.rr account? Thanks Wendy
I made the crockpot sausage and beans tonight and my family raved. I had to change up a few things so I could use what I had on hand. I used kidney beans, and canned 4 bean salad that I had. I just drained that real well. And I threw in some corn. They love it. And it was so easy!
