Fairly straightforward menu this week. I seem to just be pulling up recipes that I have made before, and I know we really like. I keep wanting to try some new recipes, but I can’t seem to get either motivated or organized or inspired enough (or something!) to get them added to the menu. So, here’s the general plan:
Sunday– rumien
Monday – Honey Mustard Chicken sandwiches, coleslaw, parmesan potato wedges
Tuesday – Mini Meatloaves, garlic smashed potatoes, sauteed cabbage
Wednesday – Light night before Tim weighs in – eggs, oatmeal, toast
Thursday – Cheeseburger Soup, homemade bread
Friday – Sloppy Joes, oven fries
Saturday – Date Night or Spaghetti
Be sure to hop on over to Laura’s site and check out the rest of the menus. There are tons of links to some really good-sounding menus, a lot of them with recipes or links to recipes. Go check it out, and play along if you would like! 🙂
Sounds like a wonderful menu this week!
I made cheeseburger soup last weekend, one of my all time faves! I still haven’t tried the rumien yet 🙂
Looks like a tasty week!
Hope your Monday is full of blessings!
Annie
Mmmm, that sounds good!
Sunday – White lightning chili (via Rachael Ray)
Monday – Tandori Chicken
Tuesday – Salad with figs and prusciotto (sp?)
Wednesday – cold cuts (it’s my dance class. something quick and easy!)
Thursday – free day?
Friday – leftovers
Saturday – dinner with the in-laws.
I’m making sloppy joes tonight. What is rumien? I’m thrying to think – could that be an acronymn for the leftovers in the fridge? Anxiously awaiting the answer to this mystery!!!
Sloppy Joes…this reminds me that I should post my low cal recipe. They turned out very good. And I served them on Whole Wheat Buns.
You have a terrific week.
Sounds great per usual! I really need to try that Honey Mustard chicken of yours! 🙂 I’m having crock pot Italian chicken again this week only without the potatoes! Have a wonderful week!
Your menu looks delicious. I am going to be using a lot of ink printing off all these recipes that I can’t wait to try.
I’m trying the Thai Chicken for the first time, so I’ll let you know what I think.
Oh and just to reply to your comment on my blog–I get annoyed with Charla and Mirna too, so it isn’t just you. 🙂
ooo yum, that cheeseburger soup sounds delicious – I copied the recipe (thanks!) and will try it.
Why mess with perfection?!! That sounds like quite the yummy week! Couple recipes there that I must try out!
YUMMY YUMMY – I’m going to have to try out the mini meatloafs!
We had Sloppy Joes this past week, too. Mini meatloaves, cute!!
