I bought a Daily Devotional book the other day at Sam’s, by the Guideposts people. My grandmother used to read Guideposts and I have fond memories of reading these with her when I would go stay at her house when I was young.
Anyway, one of the thoughts on yesterday’s devotional was a quote by Rick Hamlin, who is a Christian author. Simple, but to the point:
I rejoice, Lord, in all the blessings of life.

I read Guidepost books everyday…my dose of devotion…I love them.
Aw, I like that thought. 🙂 Sometimes it’s nice to slow down and just be thankful for all He gives us – the little things and the big things.

Hey Stacy – I believe that God is in the mundane as well as the big stuff! I always enjoy your thoughts on the little goings on in life. Sometimes we get way too busy and miss the day to day. You have a unique ability to appreciate the simple things.
