Menu Plan Monday

Menu Planning Monday

It’s that time of the week again, to post our menus and check out the other ones at OrgJunkie ‘s blog. My menu is going to be up in the air yet again this week! Last week it was the Thanksgiving holiday, and now this week, my husband is off on vacation for the whole week. It’s his birthday and he is taking off to play golf and go hunting. I don’t know which day he will do which and be here to eat (he hunts at his family’s land). So, my menu is fairly tentative. 🙂

Here’s the general idea for the week:

Sunday – We had Buffalo wings with this blue cheese dip for lunch, and breakfast burritos for supper.

Monday – Cook’s Night off (hunting for Tim, he’ll eat at his folks, I’ll probably have cereal!)

Tuesday Herbed Turkey Breast, new recipe for sweet potato dish, veggie

Wednesday – Tim’s birthday – ribeyes, potato, salad, bread

Thursday – Probably another hunting trip – Free Night for me!

Friday – our football team’s conference championship is on TV – Taco Soup or we’ll order pizza 😉

Saturday – out of town for hunting/family stuff

Sunday – Game Day food – probably burgers this week 😀

  1. Angie Said,

Oh what a great cooking week you are going to have. So many free nights! Yeah! I had a really hard time because I just haven’t been wanting to cook. We have ate out the whole weekend and now it’s time to get back on routine! Hope you have a great weekend!

  2. paperback writer Said,

    Monday – tuna noodle casserole

Tuesday – free day – my parents are in for my birthday!!

    Wednesday – broccoli farafell

Thursday – we’ll actually be celebrating my birthday then

    Friday – leftovers

    Saturday – free day

    Sunday – free day

  3. Gail Said,

Yep, I could go for some free cooking nights as well! I did a good bit last week with all the crew around and am so tired and have eaten SO much food; I could go without for a while but D seems to still be hungry all the time! There is no justice in the fact that he can eat and never gain, it never happens for me!

  4. Barb Szyszkiewicz, sfo Said,

Sounds good! I’d like a free CLEANUP night once in a while. Cooking is not the problem here 🙂
