I was cruising one of my favorite message boards the other day, Scrapbook Addict, and saw a great poll that someone had started. It is about your favorite jammies! Now, this is a topic that is near and dear to my heart this time of year! I posted the other day about changing my sheets out to warmer ones (read more about that here, and lodge your comment if you haven’t already!) and switching out to warmer, thicker, cozier pajamas this time of year is a big thing for me.
I have a ton more winter pj’s than I do summer ones. It’s something about the more comfy ones that are thicker and softer and more snuggly that really appeals to me. I have several pair of winter ones, but I have one pair that I just love. I snapped a quick picture this morning, but it doesn’t do them justice 😆
These are so warm and snuggly, and I have some big thick purple socks that I wear with them.
OK, so, I’ve come clean about my love of comfy pj’s in the fall and winter. That brings us to today’s Question of the Day:
Do you have a favorite pair of pajamas? Do you have a snuggly pair you like to wear this time of year to warm you up or just be more comfortable in? Do you just wear an old t-shirt and bottoms or maybe a gown or maybe you go all out with silk pj’s? Or something else? Leave me a comment and let me know!
I don’t have a favorite pair. I have a kazillion pairs of winter PJs. They are flannel and cotton pants and just tank tops.
Ok — MOST of the time I wear pajama bottoms and t-shirts, but I do have ONE pair that I just ADORE. They are HIDEOUSLY TACKY, which makes me even more smitten with them!
They are leopard print flannel pj pants with a red l/s tshirt w/ a leopart print flannel heart in the middle! 😀 They look even more “wicked white trash” when I wear them with my fuzzy leopard print slippers. Simply fabulous!

I wear yoga pants and fleecy tops as jammies. The more comfortable the better. My husband calls them grubbies. This coming weekend is a jammies weekend for us. He loves the Old Navy sleep pants that are made of fleece. If he could get away with wearing them to work I think that he would! 🙂

In the summer, I wear a really old tie-dye shirt that has been washed to supreme softness, and knit shorts. In the winter, I mix it up a bit with several different-colored sweatsuits. I don’t wear them all at the same time, though (if I needed to make that clear).
After seeing your pretty purple ones, though, I think I may put something like that on my Christmas list!
I like your jammies, too, but I can’t sleep with long pants on…they’re just too binding. I do have a pair of red flannel Scottie dog print pj’s that I wear around the house when it’s cold sometimes but typically I lounge around in soft, cotton sweat pants and long-sleeve knit pullover tops. I sleep in sleepshirts…the soft knits ones. Maybe if I ever stop having hot flashes in the middle of the night I could enjoy flannel sheets and pajamas lol!
I sleep in a t-shirt year round. But I love to buy pjs because I’ll change into them after work for a more comfortable evening. I love my PJs!!!
I have some cotton pj bottoms and I wear plain t-shirts to match…. I really want some new soft snuggly pj’s though… That made my Christmas list this year, so hopefully Santa will bring me some 🙂
How cute! Since we have warm weather, I’m not too fond of wearing PJs. But I have a few that I wear during December when it gets a little cold. Just like presentstorm, I like wearing cotton pj bottoms and plain tshirts.
I don’t have winter PJ’s b/c I get hot. My favorite thing to sleep in is PJ pants with a cami on top. My favorite pants are so really old leopard print pants that I got at Express when I was in high school. They’re so old that I can see the elastic band of the waist at some places! 🙂
I love jammies too! I have a silky set that I’ve been wearing this summer but I’m still wearing the pants this fall! Just using a short sleeve or 3/4 length shirt instead of the almost sleeveless one from summer. I can do a little heavier cotton or knit pj pant for winter but usually not flannel or anything too heavy. I get too hot!
How cute. I am a pj’s girl! I love to get home and put on a nice comfy pair. Don’t really have a fav just anything comfy!
BTW- I made the Chicken Crokpot for a party Saturday and instead of serving it over rice, I sliced french bread, put a scoop of chicken and sprinked cheese on top and baked until cheese was melted. It was such a big hit and they loved your chicken recipe. Thanks 🙂
I can’t wait to get home and put my jammies on. I love warm pj’s. It’s my favorite thing to buy. Luckily my mom ususally gets me a new pair at Christmas each year. They are just so comfortable at the end of the day. Almost thirteen years ago when i was pregnant with my daughter – I had a favorite pair. They were red fannel but they were like a jumpsuit that buttoned in the front. I would come home and put those on and then visit my neighbors! Hey when your pregnant you can do those things!
I’m not much on pjs. I have a pair of purple pjs but I only wear them around the house whenever I do actually wear them. I always actually sleep in just a t-shirt, b/c I can’t stand anything on my legs when I’m under the covers….everything gets all twisty! But I do wear pants whenever I’m up and about. 😀 In the winter, it’s usually yoga or workout pants of some type. In the summer, it’s just plain old cloth jogging shorts.
