Menu Plan Monday

Menu Planning Monday

As always, the wonderful Laura over at OrgJunkie has this great menu-planning meme. I love planning menus, love checking out others, and love seeing ideas and recipes. Be sure to go check out Laura’s blog, as well as all of the other yummy menus that everyone is posting!

OK, here’s what is planned for this week… gonna be an easy one with my birthday, less cooking for me!

MondayStacy’s Beef Stew, homemade bread

TuesdaySlow Cooker Thai Chicken over whole wheat spaghetti noodles, stir fry veggies, salad (Didn’t get to this last week, and I want to make it, it’s so good!)

Wednesday – Stacy’s Birthday, but also Light Night before Tim weighs in. Tomato Soup and grilled cheese

Thursday – Ribeye Steaks, baked potato, salad, homemade bread

Friday – Date Night / Birthday Celebration… Stacy gets to pick (and I pick Fratesi’s, a local Italian place). I’ll have salad, garlic bread with olive oil to dip it in, probably an eggplant parmesan or some kind of pasta, and Tiramisu for dessert. Yippee!!

Saturday – TBD

Sunday – Game Day Food — this week, bratwurst with sauerkraut, chips

  1. Gail Said,

Oh bummer, not going out on your birthday night? I guess Friday might be a better night to go out anyway!

  2. Sandra Said,

Your menu looks wonderful. Love beef stew, and that Thai Chicken sounds good too, will have to look into that one 🙂

Thanks for sharing Stacy and Happy Birthday in case I don’t get to say it on the day 🙂

  3. Dawn Said,

Hey girl! I tried the shredded chicken last night and Patt went nuts over it. That was so simple, so good, and Patt made me feel like I cooked all night on dinner so he said to tell you guys thanks for sharing that recipe!

Hope you have a good birthday week !

  8. Sherry Said,

The stew sounds really rich and amazing! I am glad you didn’t get to the crockpot Thai chicken last week, because when I saw it again, it reminded me of how much I want to try it! lol

    Happy, happy, happy birthday!

    Sherry

  9. Zoe Said,

We have a birthday meal on Friday too. It’s my youngest’s 12th birthday, so he chooses – – – – PIZZA HUT! Oh well, at least it’s better on the budget than some other places he was thinking of.

  10. Margaret Said,

I hope to make bread this week as well. I haven’t done that in awhile and Italian bread would go great with the lasagne I have planned!

  11. Becca Said,

I am going to be trying the Thai chicken tomorrow in my crock pot. I am looking forward to it. It sounds delicious. Thank you for the recipe!

    Becca
