Laura over at OrgJunkie sponsors this great meme each week. If you like cooking or planning your meals, go check it out! 🙂
This week, I’m going to try to use up some ingredients I have on hand, before we leave on vacation. Yippee!
Here we go:
Sunday – “Game Day” food – brats and sauerkraut to celebrate the first full day of NFL football
Monday – Tortilla Torta, and ??? — I’m at a loss as to what to fix with it, maybe just a green salad. The dish already has beans in it, which is my usual side dish for anything Mexican or Tex-Mex
Tuesday – new recipe for Feta Chicken, my Pan Roasted Potatoes, veggie or salad
Wednesday – our “light night” – either eggs, oatmeal and toast or else soup and a sandwich
Thursday – TBD (probably grill out fish for me & chicken for DH, veggie, box rice or potato mix)
Friday – Date Night
Saturday/Sunday/Next Week – On Vacation – Tons of eating out!!!!
Stacy, I LOVED the Tortellini Stew recipe I got from you. It was a definite keeper for us so thanks for sharing that. My hubbie really liked it too! Yeah vacation for you, I’m so jealous!!!
Where are you going on vacation?
Sunday – free day (Loki had rehersal and I was left to my own devices)
Monday – free day (I have a work related program and I’m leaving Loki up to his own devices)
Tuesday – broccoli farafelle (sp?) I call it broccoli “fearful.” I can’t spell worth sh*t sometimes.
Wednesday – free day (Loki has a show and so I will probably head on over to my in-law’s house)
Thursday – Cowboy spaghetti
Friday – free day (another show *sigh* It’s the beginning of the busy season for Loki)
Saturday – free day (this is getting repetative!)
We do a refrigerator cleanout day on Saturdays and sometimes we try to do a light night, too. That Feta Chicken sounds delicious! 🙂
Feta chicken sounds delicous! I love feta. Making tilapia and roasted zucchini tonight.
Umm…Feta chicken!!! You’ll have to post that recipe!!
Great menu plan!!
This week I definately want to come by on Tuesday….I love all things feta!! Yum!
