Are you ready… for some football???? 
We definitely are. Football season is our favorite time of year. Tim has always been a huge fan and I’ve learned, through the years, to love football as well. We like to go to games, play fantasy football in our league at Hambones, but mostly, watch our teams on TV. Now that we have the new hi-def plasma TV, we are very ready for football season to begin in earnest. Granted, we had the opening game on Thursday night, but today really starts football. First up, there’s Tim’s beloved Saints at noon, then the Packers at 3 PM, then the battle of the Manning brothers tonight. We’ve got our fantasy teams ready to go and have purchased StatTracker so we can get up-to-the minute stats in real time to follow our teams. Plus, I got us some “game day” food at the grocery store on Friday afternoon, so we’re all set. It’s gonna be a great day!

I LOVE football. I guess my dad had his influence on me! He has run a FF league for years (not this year since he moved) and the other guys in it said that they wouldn’t let me join b/c they were afrain they’d lose to me! I don’t know about that but I think it’d be fun to try. I too had the game “on” on Thursday but didn’t really watch…studying! I’ll probably put the games on today but won’t watch much. My interest is mostly tonight.
My ex-husband loved football and I have to admit I miss some of the games since Patt is not a football fan. I do want to watch the game tonight with Peyton and Eli, that will be good! Patt can either go to the other tv or watch a little football. Hope you guys have fun today!

oh man did i get squashed in the fantasy football matchup this week…LOL! i don’t think *any* of my guys showed up to play except for the Chicago defense!!
