Thursday Thirteen

Thirteen Things about Me!

Thanks to Kelly at Diary of the Nello for the header!

Well, this is the 6th week I have played the Thursday Thirteen, and I’ve not done one about me, which is the suggested theme. I’m not feeling especially creative this week (or timely either!), so I’m going to take most of these from my “100 Things about Me” I have at the top of my blog. Cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater

1. I am happily married to the love of my life
2. I am very clumsy
3. I am terrified of snakes
4. I am a total and complete chocoholic, I’ll eat anything chocolate, anytime
5. My lifelong dream is to visit England and Scotland
6. I love my digital camera and will not ever consider going back to film
7. I cannot eat Oreos without milk
8. I can’t drive a stick shift
9. I love to read, and when I was little, I would sneak a flashlight into bed with me so I could read under the covers
10. I am a Libra, and it totally fits me – very balanced, very symmetrical
11. I am terrible about procrastinating on things
12. I’m a total packrat
13. I have watched the same soap opera (All My Children) for over 25 years!

Get the Thursday Thirteen code here!

The purpose of the meme is to get to know everyone who participates a little bit better every Thursday. Visiting fellow Thirteeners is encouraged! If you participate, leave the link to your Thirteen in others comments. ItÒ€ℒs easy, and fun! Be sure to update your Thirteen with links that are left for you, as well! I will link to everyone who participates and leaves a link to their 13 things. Trackbacks, pings, comment links accepted!

  1. KarenW Said,

I could put most of those on my list!

  2. Christina Said,

Great list! I, too, am terrified in snakes, and I can’t drive a stick shift either, much to the dismay of my husband, who will ONLY drive a stick shift if given a choice. England and Scotland are beautiful places to visit. I hope you get there one day!

    My list is up, too.

  3. Gail Said,

Good list, glad you played! And we are alike since we are sisters, total chocoholic too! Maybe we’ll reform one day.

  4. Margie Mix Said,

The Chocolate and Oreos with milk – yes indeedy! I can almost relate to the soap opera except it’s been Guiding Light for 38 years. (Watched it with Mom from the crib and playpen) -Margie

  5. Dianne Said,

Hey, I’m a Libra too – this explains my OCD perhaps?! Cannot drive a stick either but I must learn to drive my husband’s truck so I can go to flea markets in style. And I’d go to England & Scotland in a heartbeat – been to Ireland though.

Great list πŸ™‚ Have a good one.

  6. deb Said,

I used to drive nothing BUT a stick shift…for years! I’m spoiled now and probably would never go back to it. I don’t think my knees could take the pedal action anymore lol

    {I’m a packrat, too ;~)

  7. Friday's Child Said,

We have things in common. Fear of Snakes, happily married.
At least you can drive. I can’t.
    Thanks for visiting.

  8. juggling mother Said,

Good list. England & Scotland make a grreat place to visit, especially if you’re into history, but if you want to get around, you’ll need to learn to drive stick shift. Our public transport system is a disgrace AND extortionate, and automatic cars are still pretty rare:-)

Alternatively, make lote of british blogfriends, then when you come over, we’ll all drive you around:-))

    my TT is up

  9. Dawn P. Said,

Number 3 is my worst fear. Yikes and hubby wants a pet one.

  10. Debi Said,

I’m happily married to the love of my life too! It’s wonderful! I can’t drive a stick shift either. And digital cameras are Awesome! I can’t go back to film either.

  11. carmen Said,

there are people that eat oreos without milk?

  12. TC Said,

I love this tt! I am married to the love of my life, I can’t drive a stick shift and I am a complete and total chocoholic

  13. Amy Said,

Thanks for sharing a little bit about yourself! Welcome to TT!

  14. Trish Said,

Not much in common… I had a pet snake named Fluffy once.. I don’t drive – I only eat chocolate during PMS week… (and I’m diabetic, so I have to get the fake stuff.. focolate.. fake chocolate…) Don’t like Oreos. Yeh.. total blasphemy. I know. πŸ™‚

    Happy TT!
    Mine are up.

  15. Robin Said,

Snakes don’t bother me…spiders are what drive me nuts.

  16. Debbie Said,

Great list! I am with you on the snakes. I shift in my truck! I love chocolate too much, and can’t stand oreos!

Thanks for stopping by. Hope you are having a terrific Thursday!

  17. Jane Said,

What a great list. As you saw from my list, I love chocolate too and reading. As for the soap opera….I have watched “Days of our Lives” since it premiered. I didn’t watch it regularly for several years but I watched enough to keep up with what was happening.
Thanks for coming by my T13.

  18. MamaDuck Said,

Wowie!! Happy TT, mine’s up ;).

  19. Pass the Torch Said,

Clumsy – hehehe. Me too. Mine TT is up.

  20. Kimmy Said,

So you think you’re a chocoholic, huh? I used to say the same. UNTIL… my son started brushing his teeth with Shrek’s chocolate toothpaste. Now that’s just nasty! πŸ˜‰
Happy T13. Thanks for stopping by!

  21. Erica Said,

I was named after Erica Kane. :o) Just thought I’d share.

  22. Jenn Said,

What a wonderful list! And you know snakes are not so bad, one of my x’s had several of them…I am proud to say I have held a snake that weighted as much as I do…she was 120 pounds…huge…and soo friendly! Though, the one’s that are poisinus (SP) I see your point… πŸ˜€

  23. PixiePincessMom Said,

I didn’t play this week but you can soooooooo bring me up to date on AMC as we shut our cable off until the end of the month for insane reasons………….. what have I missed???

  24. Tracie Said,

Great list….my mom has always been an All My Children watcher, I grew up with that show.

  25. Julie Said,

Gee, and I was hoping for something new and juicy that I didn’t ALREADY know after…..wait, let me do my math…25 years????????

  26. Christine Said,

I just went to London last year for the first time and I loved it. My mom had lived there for many years, but I got pregnant with my twins about a year after she moved out there so I didn’t want to do any overseas traveling. She has been back for about four years and last year she wanted to visit her friends so I tagged along. It was the greatest experience. I want to go back.

  27. Raggedy Said,

Great List! I want to go to Scotland too..
    My TT is up

  28. Bex Said,

LOL..I used to watch DAYS (or DOOL) all the time, but haven’t since I became a SAHM last year. I guess I have enough drama in my own life! lol.

I am a horrible procrastinator too. Well, if it comes to cleaning, I am. As far as TT, I’m pretty good! LOL

  29. Les Said,

I was the same with As The World Turns!! I don’t watch so much in the summer… and have watched Bold & The Beautiful since it came on the air!!

    Happy TT!!

  30. Lisa Said,

I am a total packrat too. I keep anything and everything! Thanks so much for sharing. I am gonna go check out your 100 things page now. I didnt do a T13 this week, but thought I would cruise by and say hi anyway!

    Thanks for visiting.

  38. Wendy Said,

I guess there are very few people who aren’t scared of snakes… I cannot drive at all… Did learn once a long time ago… I haven’t driven since then… As for chocolate… I LOVE it !!!! Have a Great weekend

  39. Ardice Said,

I’m scared of snakes too. I also love to putting things off to the last minute, something I’m trying to change.

Thanks for the visit. Have a wonderful weekend. Take-Care..

  40. MInTheGap Said,

Great list– even if it is a cheat! We have both a film and digital camera, but I don’t use the film one (except for the digital film video camera). Now if only I could retrain the wife to make sure that she has the thing focused before telling us to say “cheese.”

    My TT’s up at: http://www.minthegap.com/?p=565

  41. presentstorm Said,

Isn’t it great being married to the love of your life? I am married to mine too. It makes life so enjoyable. Love the list, even though I had already read it in your 100 things πŸ™‚

Thanks for stopping by my place.

  42. ivan_girl Said,

stacy, thanks for tagging my T13. πŸ™‚

I wish that yor #1 can/will happen to me.
I am like your #4. I go crazy without them.
My eyes became what they are because just as you have #9,
I forget to switch on the light when the day turns to dusk.
