Look what Santa Claus brought me for Christmas – I must have been very good this year!!! It’s a Kodak P850 digital camera, with a lot more features, a lot more megapixels, a lot more zoom, and tons of other cool things that my other digital camera didn’t have. Sweet!

SO, you gonna pass along your “old” camera to your poor sister (me) who is still in the not so digital age??

Suzie – it’s a really great camera! It is a 5 megapixel, but the main thing I was wanting was more zoom (this one has 12x) and the ability to shoot things in close detail, like a flower blooming, or an ornament hanging on a tree. My other camera would shoot it, but not always focus on the object or in fine detail. Hard to explain, but I knew what I wanted. This camera will do all that and more. It has a thing you can set it to and select from like 17 different preset modes – things like night landscape, night portrait mode, candlelit mode, sunset mode, beach mode, fireworks mode, sports mode, etc. It presets the lens, aperture, shutter speed, flash, etc for certain conditions. And if those aren’t enough, you can switch to manual mode and set it all yourself. Nice camera, I love it so far! It certainly has a lot more features than I know how to use 🙂
