Wow – we couldn’t believe the difference a little grout could make in how the tile looks! We are even happier than we were the other day when we finished laying the tile…
We put down the grout tonight, and then got it cleaned up and buffed. Now, we just have to let it set 48-72 hours, then seal it, and then we’ll be almost done. (The only other things will be to put back the baseboards and paint them, over the new nail holes, and then for Tim to install that important fixture we removed, the toilet. :D)

And what it looks like now, we’re so pleased!
Neighbor saw me sitting on the toilet reading… told me he wished he had a camera. What’s wrong with sitting in the garage reading instructions from the grout bag?
that picture would have been……….priceless!
It does look so much better now…..great work !!
the tile looks good!
Wow, this looks GREAT! Glad to see that you FINALLY got your tile! I know that you will love it! I really do love mine!!!!!
Gail is right…that picture would have been priceless! Stacy, I can’t believe that you missed a shot like that!!!
Thanks everybody, for the comments. We’re misting the grout a couple of times a day and it seems to be getting a little lighter. Which I like, it helps lighten the overall effect of the tile. It looks pretty dark in the bathroom, but I think it’s going to look a lot better in the kitchen and our bath. Number one, both of those rooms have windows and get a lot of natural light. Plus, both of those rooms have red/maroon accents and this tile has a little bit of red, so it should really look good in those rooms. That’s really the rooms we used to pick it out! 🙂
Thanks again!
