Napster

I’m downloading Napster right now to my PC. I redeemed some of my points at one of my points place for 5 free songs from Napster. So, I have to sign up for a free trial, and download to the software and set it all up, then I can download my free songs. The only catch is that I have to remember to cancel it before my free trial runs out, or else they’ll start charging me for the darn thing.

Anyone have any suggestions for songs I can download? Send ’em on!

Right now, I have a list of “possibles” – including some country and pop songs. Any and all suggestions welcome!

  1. Gail Said,

I want to know what you have on your list!
Here are some to think about:
    Mississippi Girl by Faith Hill
    Breakaway by Kelly Clarkson
anything by Tina Turner! The Best is a good one as are many others! And……no collection is complete without at least ONE of her songs!
Healing Rain, We Can’t Wait Any Longer or Bridge Over Troubled Water by Michael W. Smith
    Home by Michael Buble
What the World Needs by Wynona
something by Chris Botti, maybe Someone to Watch Over Me or One More for my Baby and One More for the Road
and something by Frank Sinatra: I’ve Got the World on a String, Three Coins in the Fountain, Learnin the Blues, Chicago or The Tender Trap
I could probably think of more, and might email them to you! These are what came to me first.

  2. BillH Said,

Let’s see. My essential list would include:

–Anything by Rush, Styx, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Johnny Lang, Kenny Wayne Shepherd or Stabbing Westward.
–Most stuff by Silvertide, Audioslave, Rob Zombie, either Blues Brothers movie soundtracks, Nine Inch Nails, Michael W. Smith, Newsboys, U2, Guns ‘n’ Roses, Rammstein and AC/DC.
–If you’re into movie soundtracks ANYTHING by Danny Elfman.
–You can get some great FREE downloads from http://www.spatterdashonline.com , http://www.garageband.com and http://www.progarchives.com
