Well, I don’t think I’ve done this meme, or any memes, in at least two weeks. I might do a little catch-up this week.
I’ll do today’s Monday Madness meme below, and the one from the week before in the extended section. Check it out and play along if you’d like!
Good Monday morning… This week I thought we’d answer some true or false. Feel free to elaborate on your answers. Thanks for playing.
1. I’m at my best in the early morning. False. I’m NOT a morning person. 👿
2. I start each day with a healthy breakfast. True (or at least I try)
3. I’m always sure to get at least 7 hours of sleep each night. True. I really need 8-9 hours on a regular basis. 😛
4. I enjoy my job. True (best job in the world!)
5. I get along with most everyone. True (or at least, I hope so!!)
6. I’m looking forward to the new season of tv shows this year. TRUE, most definintely TRUE!
7. I make sure I take some time for myself every day. True
Another week of potpourri……. Have fun!
1. Do you own a dishwasher (and if not, do you even want one), or do you have to do your dishes by hand? I do have a dishwasher, that’s one of life’s musts for me (along with a washer and dryer, can’t live without them). I load our regular plates, cups and cutlery in the dishwasher, but normally wash everything else by hand (pots, pans, casserole dishes, cooking utensils, prep bowls, etc).
2. Do you put your dishes away immediately after washing them? Sometimes. At night, I usually leave them out to air dry and put them up first thing in the morning. During the day, I’m pretty good about getting them up quickly. I don’t like the sink and counters cluttered.
3. In the warm weather, do you like hanging your laundry out on the clothesline to dry, or do you prefer a dryer? Mostly the dryer, but I do hang some things out on my “clothesline” which is my deck railing! 🙂
4. How many loads of laundry are done in your household each week? Hmm, on average, I do about 6 or so, I guess. Sometimes more, sometimes less.
5. Do you own a pet? If so, do you buy them presents for holidays? Do you consider your pet(s) spoiled? If you don’t own one, do you think you will one day? Sigh. Not since my Sally girl passed away, almost two years ago. I’m still waiting patiently for my new flooring that Tim said wehad to have before we could get another dog. I still really miss Sally. When we had her, she got a Christmas present and her own stocking hung at the fireplace. I think she was pretty spoiled, but I prefer to think of it as loved and adored. 🙂
6. It’s Friday evening and you’re planning your weekend. What’s on your agenda? This time of year, it’s all about football. I have given up on planning much, because no matter what I plan, Tim always wants to change it and do something else. He doesn’t like being pinned down, he likes to be spontaneous.

True, I didn’t think I used to be a morning person but I find that I do better work in the morning and can get more done in the morning rather than later in the day. There are less distractions in the morning.

Not always, I would like to get that much but I don’t always go to bed early enough to make sure that I do!

I do, if you can call it a job! I suppose it is work though.

Yes, have a dishwasher! And use it every day and put eveything possible in it!

Most of the time.

Use the dryer mostly, we have some things that don’t need to be dried so I do hang a few things.

Wow, I have no idea! Not nearly as many with all 4 children gone from home! I would guess 4-6, more or less depending on what has been going on. And now that I have a nice BIG washer and dryer, it is probably less!

We still have 2 cats here, that don’t belong to me! They belong to Elizabeth, but she doesn’t seem to be in a hurry to take them! We have not gotten another dog since Caleb (best dog ever!) When the kids were home, we would sometimes get them something for Christmas but don’t usually do that as a rule. The cats don’t get presents! They usually leave us things though (like the birds they kill, yuck)
I do not spoil them!

Usually not too much, maybe going out to eat, maybe watching a movie, or maybe going to see some of the kids.
