Well, there’s not a lot going on worth blogging about. Well – not that there ever is! Let’s see – here’s a few tidbits:
1. The little bird we found last night didn’t make it, I don’t think. I checked on it till dark last night and it didn’t move. I went out first thing this morning and it was about 2 feet away and looked like it was dying. Apparently it’s mom or dad didn’t come back to put it back in the nest or take care of it. At least one of the neighborhood cats didn’t get it. I checked on it a couple of hours later and couldn’t find it… so, we’ll hope for the best, but I’m afraid the worst has happened to it. 🙁
2. I’ve been working today on my blog… look for a new style to come online shortly.
3. Also working on some other stuff for the main site of Hambones… look for those soon too. Including a surprise!!
4. Tim may be moving his weigh-in day back to Friday. A couple months ago they moved it to Wednesday, and I am just now getting used to the change. Menu planning will shift gears again and go back to Fridays. 🙂
5. We were watching the local news last night and they were talking about a run-down apt complex that is in the news a lot lately (it’s in Jackson). They quoted one guy as saying what he paid a month for an apt there (not what we consider a great part of town). His rent in this run down place was less than 200 a month what we pay in our mortgage payment here. Boy, do I ever feel more lucky and grateful than I did before to have our wonderful comfy little home. 🙂
6. Speaking of housing stuff, we have seen a couple for sale lately in our subdivision as we are walking. Two of them had those white plastic for-sale things out there, with info sheets in them. I’m happy to report that the asking price in our subdivision ranges from $85 to $95 per square foot. Yeah!
