Husbands in Grocery Stores

This is what happens when you talk your husband into stopping at the grocery store, after church. You know, for necessities and healthy food (milk, orange juice, fruit, veggies). These just “jump” in the cart:

What you don’t see is the 6 or 7 bags of potato chips we already have at our house. Plus now we have 4 bags of Who Dat chips (which are “regular” flavored, not even a special flavor). Good grief. I try not to eat many of them, so Tim has some serious chip eating to do 😀

  1. Dianne Said,

LOL! That happens here too. Only not so much chips but weird stuff like pickles and braunshweiger and grapefruit juice. Yeah, Tim better get busy!

  2. Kimmy Said,

    Haha, that’s great! 😉

  3. Karen Said,

How funny! I don’t think we have Who Dat chips here. I agree, taking husbands grocery shopping makes it a very different experience.

  4. mamichelle Said,

Too funny! My hubby would be happy to help out! :-))

  5. Debbie Said,

My husband goes crazy at Target with all manner of junk food. Yoiks! When he finds what he deems a good sale at the grocery store, look out! It can be sirloin steaks, hunks of chicken, cans of Spaghetti-O’s, dill pickles, apple juice, boxes upon boxes of pasta, etc. Funny how this seems to be a recurring theme with a lot of husbands. Glad to know mine isn’t the only one!I found your blog through my sister Dianne @ Unfinished Work.

  6. Lauren@BaseballsandBows Said,

So funny! My husband comes home with strange purchases sometimes as well, and usually they are in very large quantities. Sams is a dangerous place for my husband!

  7. Meredith Said,

When I was in Arkansas last week, my cousin and her fiancee (big LSU and Saints fans) brought some of those chips. Cute.

And my husband also made a fill-in trip to the grocery store while I was gone. I came home to many surprises in the pantry. 🙂
