I think our days of watching American Idol are now over. We didn’t watch in the beginning, but picked up around season 4 or 5. Last year, when they added Kara, it was okay, but we weren’t thrilled. It helped that they had a lot of talent. I personally really liked both Kris Allen and Danny Gokey, and am looking forward to their albums later this year. But, now with them getting rid of Paula and adding Ellen DeGeneres, I think we’ll probably skip this one from now on.

I think the first season I actually watched the show almost every week was the season when Taylor Hicks won. I really, really liked Eliott Yamin and watched only to see him.
Other seasons I’ve watched some, but not all. Oh, I did watch part of season 3 (I think) when Diana DiGarma was on because she’s from a little town outside of Atlanta.
I didn’t watch at all last year and I doubt I’ll watch this year. Just not interested any more.
I don’t watch t.v. very much and I’m probably the only person in America who has never seen American Idol! I do like Ellen and I might tune in just to see her. To me, she’s one of the funniest people in the world. She just cracks me up.
I guess Karen and I are the only 2 people in the world who don’t watch AI. I just don’t watch much television. I don’t care for Ellen too much, so I guess I will continue to be in the dark when it comes to all the AI talk this season!
I just wish American Idol would GO AWAY!!! I just could never understand the hype with that show.
I’m on that list too. The only part I’ve seen is the very end and it’s only because I’m waiting for my 10:00 news! LOL I can’t imagine Ellen replacing Paula. Nope, I won’t be watching!
