We always look forward to seeing a couple of “big screen” movies at our local theater in the summer. This year is no exception. In fact, I think there may be even more movies than usual that we are interested in seeing on the big screen! 🙂

I think we’ll try to see Wolverine, Star Trek and Terminator at least, and maybe a couple of others. I’m sure there will be plenty that I’d be willing to wait on, for them to come out on DVD (for example, Night at the Museum 2). And I know we won’t see Harry Potter. I haven’t read the books and neither of us have seen any of the movies. I know, I know, we’re oddballs on the Harry Potter front 🙂

I think Star Trek tops my list this summer. I want to see Night at the Museum, but will probably wait for video so I can preview then view with the 5yo. 🙂
I will probably see Star Trek and maybe Wolverine, too, but I am TOTALLY excited for Harry Potter… Been waiting a long time!
To be honest, we are not movie people. DH and I do not have the same taste either. It’s been years since we’ve been to the drive in! Love it.
first of all…go harry potter! i am glad to see it is on the top of the polling list. i have read the books and a few friends and i make it a night out the first night it comes out. we go to dinner and then over to the movie! last time the newest one came out it was a night after me working 4 straight nights and getting no sleep and pregnant. so i ended up falling asleep. one friend wanted to wake me up but the other friends did not. i was very mad at myself. the next day i went to an early show and watched it again.
According to good ole’ “Aaron” Transformers 2 is supposed to be much better than Transformers. Plus he has a larger role!!!
Angels and Demons is probably the only one we’d see in the theatre. Night at the Museum 2, I’ll wait for the video, and the kids will want to see Harry Potter.
I’d like to go see the new Russel Crowe/Ben Affleck movie that came out Friday. My DH would enjoy something that’s not a check flick for a change!
Definitely Harry! My daughter and I have read the series countless times, and we love them! I’m really looking forward to that, but I’m also eagerly anticipating the new Star Trek movie, and we’ll probably go see Transformers 2.
Some of my kids will see Harry and are anxiously awaiting it! Not sure we’ll see any of these! I’ll have to see what others might come out.
Was hoping a romantic comedy (new one with jennifer gardner and Matthew M coming out soon) but this summer it looks like a lot of action, science fiction and stuff!

We hardly ever see movies in the theater anymore and I often don’t even know what is coming out. But your post makes me think we better squeeze in at least a couple of movies this summer! Glad your FIL is O.K.
We have to go see Half-Blood Prince. My kids and I have read ALL the books and with hubby, we have seen ALL the movies so far! My older daughter can’t wait for the movie to come out!
