Nope, there isn’t anything I want enough to go shopping with that crowd!
Cam Said,
I’m with you, Stacy.
I stay far away from the pushing, shoving, obnoxious crowds of people who have bought into the commercialization of Christmas…a fact that makes me sad & angry at the same time.
Yep we are leaving for Amarillo at 6am! Mainly though because we have to go for stuff to finish our floor and I was sick Weds when we had planned to go.
Dianne Said,
I used to do it, when I was in college, simply because we couldn’t get to a mall much. Then one year after I quit teaching, I worked at a department store during the holidays. Never again I said, would I hit the mall or shop on Black Friday!
I’ve worked retail, so there’s no way I’d compromise sleep time to get out in that! However, DH did get out lol. He said police presence was overwhelming. Crazy.
I DID go out — but I’m not crazy. I went to two stores and both of them had NO lines and close parking spots! I didn’t leave the house til 730 and found everything that I wanted! You can read about the trip on my blog!
Hey, cute look! What happened to the blue one or the others though?
No, we haven’t gone shopping here and it’s midday now….I might have to go get something food wise for tonight or tomorrow, imagine that! But no other shopping here.
Love your new look too! I hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving and that you have enjoyed your busy week. I did your poll the other day, and voted “no way”, but I caved a little and did end up going to JoAnn Fabrics. I bought the fabric for my kids’ Christmas pillowcases that I make each year to open on Christmas Eve. Then it was back home for me. The line to pay wasn’t bad, but I stood in line to get my fabric cut for close to a 1/2 hour….yuck!

I wasn’t even tempted by the ads. Except CVS, but I went on Thursday before we started cooking. Hope you had a great turkey day!

Oh wait, after I commented the look changed! You must still be in deciding mode!
I’ll only shop if it’s online.
I shopped… til I dropped ! 🙂

I know I voted late but I said NO way! I hate the crowds and I never shop on Black Friday. The deals are not that good!
