Scarce

Gavel

Well, I might be scarce this week, here at my own blog, on Facebook, and coming by to visit other blogs. I have a jury summons this week. I just called the number listed, and I do have to report on Monday, so wish me luck 🙂

Ergh. Oh well, at least you’re doing your civic duty, right?

    I’ll miss ya!

  3. Debi Said,

    You’ll be missed!

  4. Meredith Said,

I hope you get released! You’ll be missed!

  5. Sadie Said,

Good luck! Maybe you’ll get picked to be on a really interesting case. Or maybe you’ll get sent home early. I hope you took some of that big stack of books and magazines with you. 😉

  6. Belle (from Life of a) Said,

I must be one of the only people who likes to get a jury summons. I WANT to serve and send people up the river and make them pay their debt to society. They NEVER pick me…ever! (Think it’s the “send people up the river” part that turns them off?) LOL!!!!!!!

  7. sherry Said,

Good luck! Hope you’re able to make the best of it.

  8. Karen Said,

I’ve always wanted to serve on a jury. The only time I was summoned, we had vacation plans. I assured them that if they called me again, I would LOVE to serve, so please, call me again. They probably thought I was a bit strange.

  9. mamichelle Said,

Hope you didn’t get picked (unless, of course, you wanted to be!).

  10. Karen Said,

Stacy, I forgot to tell you, I tried the crockpot applesauce recipe! It was awesome. It smelled so good cooking and my family loved it 😛

  11. Heidi Said,

Good luck on your jury duty!

  12. Gail Said,

At least you got off yesterday afternoon and today! Maybe the rest of week will go good too.

  13. Write From Karen Said,

    Hi Stacy!

    How is jury duty going?

BTW, LOVE the new blog look! It looks so fresh and feminine. 🙂

  14. Dawn Said,

A friend of mine got summoned for jury duty this week too. He got called for–get ready for this–the murder that happened in my apartment complex last year. =O When he told them he had not only heard about the case on the news & remembered it, but that he was friends with someone who lives there, he was dismissed *immediately*. All the other cases selected their juries so he was relieved of his obligations.

  15. Susanne Said,

    Ugh, not fun!
