This is an odd “Question of the Day“. But, I think it’s a universal topic for most women.
My question is this – do you shave your legs every day? It’s a big thing with me. I have to shave them every day. If I’m sick or just totally lazy and don’t shave my legs, then I absolutely cannot go to sleep at night. It feels like a big hairy caterpillar on my legs, and they poke into my other leg or cut Tim or something. I can’t get comfortable if they haven’t been shaven. So, even though I’m not fond of it, I shave them every.single.day. 365 days a year. I am not sure if it’s just me, so leave me a comment and let me know. Do you shave your legs every day? If so, is there a reason, or just hygiene? If not, does it not bother you?
Oh, and I use a Venus razor these days. I gave up disposables a long time ago. I use Skintimate shave gel, mostly because I can buy it in 3 or 4 packs at Sam’s Club. Gotta keep plenty of razor blades and shaving gel on hand. Since, you know, I have to shave my legs every day. 😀

I guess I’m lucky, I get away with the once or twice a week shaving. 🙂 In the summer mayber I’ll throw in an extra if we are swimming alot. But I have really fine hair, so it really doesn’t show. In the winter, I hate shaving and only do it when I have too….like when I feel like a werewolf. Hee hee

I shave every day in the summer, but definitely NOT in the winter. And that is my favorite razor too. I LOVE it.
You are too much. I used to shave every every day in the summer but just 2-3 times a week (or less) in the winter. and I never shave all the way up – LOL! I try to remember if i’m wearing shorts but basically i shave as far as i need to for the day’s apparel! I say I used to shave everyday, with our shower out of commission and only the tub usable, sometimes it’s just a pain. but yippee – i think we are getting the shower fixed very soon – it’s only been 2 years. 🙁
my gram used to brag that she never shaved her legs and you know, she had very little hair on them.
i hate buying special shaving products. i think they gunk up the tub more; i usually just use shampoo or shower gel. but a good razor is an absolute must!!!

Please don’t hate me. I am practically hairless, and I never shave my legs. When I was much younger, I used to shave my legs once every week or two.
However, I have a moustache that needs close attention!
I shave my legs a few times a week during the summer and next to never in the winter. My hair is so fine that unless I notice, it is a when I think of it type thing. That makes me sound lazy. Ugh! I use an electric shaver. I love it, I shave and then put lotion on and it feels nice and smooth!

Yes Yes Yes I shave everyday…I have too. It would drive me nuts..make me feel dirty. I use Daisy disposable razors as does Madison. i have always enjoyed them.
In the summer, I used to shave every day. But I’ve noticed as I’ve gotten older, I have much less hair on my legs, so I can go longer without shaving. In the winter, hardly ever.
OMG – I would LOVE to shave every day but I’m way too lazy. 😉
So in the winter it’s 1-2 times a week, and in the summer it’s about every other day.
I also use the Venus razors. They’re great… but they were coming out about when I started shaving, so I don’t remember ever using anything else.
I know EXACTLY what you mean about going to sleep at night and the big hairy caterpillar. I’ve been known to get up out of bed and go into the bathroom and sit on the edge of the tub and shave… once it gets into my mind, it’ll drive me insane until they’re smooth….
Not everyday. Probably every other day… but less in the winter. I use a shaving cream for women that is coconut scented… I love it and love the smell.
I guess I’m lucky, I don’t need to shave them everyday, every other day maybe and a LOT less in the winter….but that was when I was back in Idaho where it was cold and I could cover my legs, here it’s summer all year long so I’m shaving a lot more LOL
Have to confess I don’t shave every day, but almost. And I’m a fan of the VENUS, too. Some time ago I read somewhere that the secret to a good, close shave for legs is to use hair conditioner…any ole kind will do. I tried it, but have to say I think shave cream works better. As s side note, my mom shaved her legs once as a young lady and the hair never grew back. Can you imagine that good luck? I wish I would have inherited that from her.
Sadly, No. I also just discovered the Venus razor. It is pretty good! Expensive though!
You are scaring me. I am the EXACT same way!!! People laugh at me but I can’t help it. I won’t get under the covers without shaving either. And I use a Venus razor with skintimate shave gel. LOL That is a riot!
I shave every other day. If I do it every day, I end up ripping up my skin or I just don’t get a nice close shave. I need there to be enough there for the razor to actually reach! I guess the hairs just don’t grow back quite quickly enough for daily removal. I use the Venus as well but I use the shavel gel from Gilette (can’t remember the exact name of it but I know it’s the one for sensitive skin).
I shave every other day unless there’s something going on and I will be “seen” by otheres but as long as I’m in my office with no meetings..every other day works fine.
I have to almost every day! Especially in the summer, maybe can go every other day in winter.
What is up with all your comments saying they don’t have to do it every day! Makes me a bit jealous! I just finished using a huge bag of disposable razors I already had, so now on to that Venus….guess it’ll cost more to get the blades though.
I think I’ll treat myself and get a Venus. I’ve been using cheap disposables for years. I use the Skintimate shave gel, too, — would try any other kind — and every other day seems to suffice.

In the summer I shave about 2-3 times a week. In winter once or twice. I tried the Venus Embrace and wasn’t so sure it was all that different, until I tried something else a couple weeks ago, and boy was there ever a difference so I guess I’m stuck paying a small fortune for the replacement blades. We use any shave gel that comes in a “sensitive skin” variety.
Every single day? Heavens no! Once a week…with the new electric razor I bought a couple of months ago. Much safer for someone who’s half blind without her glasses, in the shower. 🙂
