Sunday Afternoon

Good day today so far. Our church is doing a series on “Desperate Households”, about families and couples and parents being “desperate” for God. It’s been such a great series and we have thoroughly enjoyed it. I almost hate that it’s going to end in a couple of weeks, right before Easter. It’s made us want to get up and get to early church as soon as we can every week. πŸ™‚ We had a quick lunch, and then after watching some golf on TV, Tim decided to go head to the driving range to hit some balls. Beau and I are hanging out at home. I’m doing laundry and catching up on reading newspapers and going through piles of mail. It’s a beautiful day here, all sunshiney and just a little cool (58º right now). It’s supposed to hit 70 degrees tomorrow before it starts raining again.

I obviously just transferred a bunch of photos and decided to play catch-up on here. Here’s a couple from today:

Beau taking a nap – look at the two toys curled up in his feet, so cute!

Napping Beau

And yeah, the doorbell just rang and guess what finally came!

Girl Scout Cookies!

Oh, just look at that sweet baby! Makes me want to curl up right there with him!

  2. Stacy aka Vaders Mom Said,

I didn’t think it could get any better than a Beau photo, but oh my…Girl Scout Cookies!!! YUMMY!!!

  3. mamichelle Said,

Oh, that Beau is SO adorable!!

Holy Smokes on the 70’s! I’m so jealous. I think we were at 25 today.

I haven’t gotten that nice doorbell sound yet….I think I ordered from 3 different girls so I should have about 20 boxes soon! Oink, oink. I”ve gained so much weight.

  4. Sandra Said,

He is so cute, look at the toys πŸ™‚

Yum, Girl Scout Cookies and you got my favorites too LOL

  5. Cam Said,

It was a beautiful day for sure.
I envy you and your relaxing Sunday afternoon. But I’m glad you had it and enjoyed it!

  6. Heidi Said,

We have some girl scout cookies too. The boxes are so small nowadays, not that that is a bad thing, but they go fast!

  7. Coach Jenny Said,

Oh, my dh just bought some peanut butter patties–my favorite!! πŸ™‚

  8. Lauren@Baseballs&Bows Said,

    I love Tagalongs! YUM!

  9. Gail Said,

Gasp! Alas, no one comes around to sell girl scout cookies to me anymore and of course my girls have long outgrown girl scouts! I’m envious, but I don’t need them ya know.
That series at church sounds good and I would love to be able to go to early church!

  10. Claire Said,

Yay for girlscout cookies!!! I didn’t get any thin mints but think I am going to have to buy a box of those later.

  11. Kara Said,

awwww…sweet dogs and cookies – what a great day!

  12. Barb @ A Chelsea Morning Said,

Oh, what an adorable photo of the puppy sleeping – his bed looks just like Cameron’s, it’s so full of toys. LOL

OK, I’m starting to feel really left out. Everwhere I go, people are getting their Girl Scout cookies and I’m not getting any because not one single little girl scout came to our house. Poor, poor me. It makes me so sad to think of all the samoas I could be eating.

  13. jen Said,

I have been wondering when my cookies come in….hopefully soon. LOL.
    Beau looks adorable yet comfy.

  14. Dawn Said,

They were all out of Tag Alongs when I saw the girls selling them outside Publix. =( I got one box of Thin Mints and that was it.

  15. Desert Songbird Said,

As always, that furry boy looks adorable. Oh, and I finally got my GS cookies this Sunday, too!

  16. Lois Grebowski Said,

    Sweet sleeping puppy!

And YUM on those GS cookies. I’m so glad I haven’t seen them this year. I’d buy about 30 boxes! Tagalongs, Thin Mints and Samoas are my faves!
