Still busy here, but having a blast. Tim is on vacation all week, and my sister Gail came Monday and stayed 2 days with us. She’ll be back tomorrow (Thurs) with her family, and my dad will drive up, for the big day. Or maybe I should say, the “big meal”. Because after all, Thanksgiving is mostly about the food, isn’t it?!
Here’s what we’re having tomorrow:
Cheese and Crackers for an appetizer
Turkey
Gail’s Squash Dressing
Cranberry Sauce
Broccoli Casserole
Sweet Potato Casserole
Green Bean Bundles
Rolls
Pecan Pie
Creme Brulee Cheesecake
Hopefully, we’ll all get to watch a little football, before or after, and maybe get a little exercise in after eating. I’m hoping to either get out and walk a bit, or get out with the guys and watch them hit golf balls in the backyard. I know the weather should be pretty good tomorrow – we’re expecting a line of thunderstorms to move through later today and drop our temps from the high 70’s to the low 50’s. It should feel more like Thanksgiving tomorrow 😀 Hopefully, the rain will be gone and we can all get out and get a little bit of fresh air and exercise after the feasting 😛
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day tomorrow, Stacy! It sounds like you’re going to have a very tasty meal. I can’t believe you’re planning on exercising, though – I admire you greatly for that! The only thing I’m going to exercise tomorrow will be my jaws. 😉
Yummy! If you get some time, would you post some recipes? Green bean bundles sounds interesting, as do all the casseroles.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
For some people, it may be all about the food, but for me this year, it’s all about the football! Both my Colts and my Sun Devils on television – woooooohoooooo!
I was thinking that we’d decided I’d do the green beans all mixed up together and not as bundles, so we wouldn’t have to put that in the oven too……..let me know!
Working on the rice and broccoli casserole, pie and dressing now!
Sounds great! Have fun!
Yum, the Creme Brulee cheesecake sounds like it’s to die for!
Happy Thanksgiving, Stace!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family, Stacey!
It sounds so much fun. Enjoy your day with your family.
All that food sounds good…wonder how many pounds I’ll pack on tomorrow? I’m hoping to make better choices this year. I hope the weather is good, too. I have it in my head that it will be raining all day here, but maybe I’m wrong. I will need to get out and get some exercise after lunch so I’ll be hungry at dinner 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving to you!
gobble gobble- sounds like a great menu- have fun:)
Feel like Thanksgiving…heck…it’s freezing cold. We got that line of weather today. I don’t like it one bit!!!
Ooo, I am intrigued by Gail’s Squash Dressing! Tell her she should post the recipe. 😉 Sounds like you’re going to have a delicious Thanksgiving — enjoy it and tell us all about it later! Happy Thanksgiving!!
Sounds like a fantastic Thanksgiving. Everything sounds so good and it really sounds like your going to have a lot of fun.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Just wanted to stop by & say Happy Thanksgiving! 🙂
It sounds like y’all are having a delicious spread. Enjoy the food & family time!
O.K. You got me with the creme brulle cheesecake – Yum! Hope you had a fab Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving, Stace!
We’ve had a house full of family, too, and it’s been so great 🙂
Your menu sounds great but I’m so stuffed even the creme brulle cheesecake doesn’t appeal to me but I bet it was to die for ;~)
Sounds wonderful! We watched Dallas play and I fell asleep! The turkey did it!
Hey it’s all snowy in here! I hope you guys had a lovely Thanksgiving. =)
