Today’s Question of the Day is short and sweet – do you eat peanut butter? If so, do you like creamy, crunchy, natural, or what type? Do you just eat peanut butter on a sandwich like a PB&J, or do you just like peanut butter in general? Do you have a specific brand you will only buy, like Peter Pan or Jif, or will you buy any brand if it’s cheaper?
Here’s my answer – I love peanut butter! I’m not picky about how I eat it. I will eat a teaspoon if I have the hiccups (works for me every.single.time). I love peanut butter smeared on a banana or in a sandwich. I love to make no-bake cookies using peanut butter, oatmeal, chocolate, etc. I am a bit picky on brand, I normally prefer Jif. I do buy natural peanut butter (I think it’s the Smuckers brand) but I’m the only one who eats that, Tim won’t eat the natural stuff. I buy creamy, but you know, I’m not totally sure if Tim likes creamy or crunchy! He never complains, so I just keep buying the creamy stuff 🙂

Ewww, I can’t eat the stuff. I do like Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups …. but that’s about it! You’ll never catch me eating it on a sandwich … oh, I like peanut butter crackers … and cookies. Okay, so maybe I lied, I’ll eat it but not in a sandwich, LOL.
I prefer crunchy but its not a necessity. I LOVE ALL THINGS PEANUT BUTTER THOUGH. Ice cream, Trader Joes peanutbutter stuffed pretzels, reeces, cookies, mmmm peanut butter noodles! im drooling
I love peanut butter. Grew up with creamy so that’s what I buy. And always Skippy. 😉

I like creamy Jif. However, I recently figured out that our store brand tastes an awful lot like Jif, so that’s what I’ve been buying. I like peanut butter in lots of things.
I really only like creamy and it must have grape jelly with it. I’m not a big fan of plain peanut butter, but I will have to remember what you said about the hiccups…a real good friends is always getting hiccups so she’s going to have to try that 🙂
I don’t eat much peanut butter now, used to eat it a bit more. We eat only the natural peanut butter, creamy. A good peanut butter and jelly sandwich is hard to beat though!
However, I LOVE that chocolate peanut butter that I bought at your Kroger! Yum, I could eat that every.single.day! 🙂
Peanut butter is my diet DOWNFALL. Oh girl, let me tell you.
I will eat peanut butter on top of really cheap gross cookies that only kids will eat. I eat pb mixed with ff whipped cream. I eat pb on poptarts, on bread, and by itself. I LOVE ME SOME PEANUT BUTTER!

I’m a peanut butter freak! I love it on bananas, apples, slathered on a piece of bread and then toasted in the oven until it’s runny (hah!), on a bagel, on french toast, stirred into chocolate pudding (sinful), by the spoonful with a drizzle of honey on top, on a jelly sandwich, spread on a chocolate rice cake or on a piece of angel food cake. I’ll eat it on just about anything lol
Creamy for me. I don’t like the chunky. And I choose Jif. I think it tastes better than Peter Pan and I don’t like the off brands at all. The natural peanut butter is good, too, but I prefer the really smooth texture of Jif.

I like it in no bakes too, and fix the kids sandwiches too.
I love peanut butter! Has to be creamy Skippy. Peanut butter and jelly (must be grape) sandwiches, peanut butter spread on toast, peanut butter on celery, peanut butter on a big spoon right out of the jar. And I have to be the first one to use it from a new jar – have to stick my finger in and grab some. The girls and I used to fight over new jars of peanut butter!
I LOVE peanut butter! Cookies, pie, ice cream — the only kind of homemade ice cream my family has ever made is peanut butter. ;-D I like it straight from the jar in a spoon (or on my finger) and I especially love it mushed up with a banana and eaten out of a bowl. So it’s just as sad as can be that I almost never eat it anymore. 🙁 But when I did, I *always* ate crunchy peanut butter, and I wasn’t terribly picky about which brand. We’ve mostly bought the Kroger brand for the last several year, and I like JIF, too. For some reason, I’m not a fan of Peter Pan though.
I love peanut butter!! My favorite is the Creamy Jif that has honey added to it!! YUMMY!

My favorite treat is a Peanut Buster Parfait from Dairy Queen and I always add peanut butter to it. Funny how it does not come with peanut butter!
I love peanut butter, was raised on creamy but we buy crunch now. I sometimes take a PB&J sandwich for lunch. I now am working out and afterwards, will eat a few graham crackers w/peanut butter. That seems to stave off my hunger and that’s all I’ll eat at night.. Cutting back…..Love peanut butter.
I love pb and usually buy the creamy one. It’s easier to spread on bread.
I LOVE peanut butter — crunchy Jif is my all time fav. I love it on Ritz crackers (plain or with grape jelly), on toasted English muffins or bagels, by the spoonful and LOVE it in cookies with a glass of cold milk. YUUMMMMMM>
We usually always buy Kraft. I prefer smooth but my family likes crunchy. The dayhome kids love peanut butter on crackers then sprinkled with chocolate sprinkles. Peanut and banana sandwiches, peanut butter and honey sandwiches is also loved by the kids.
I buy the largest container of whatever is cheapest–creamy only. I have a daughter who loves peanut butter–but won’t touch a peanut, so crunchy is out.
I like PB, but I don’t love it. I don’t like it plain, but I like PB sandwiches, & especially PB & J sandwiches. I can eat either crunchy or plain, I have no preference.
Philip loves it and insists on having crunchy JIF. G loves it, too; he asks for a PB sandwich (no jelly, just PB–he doesn’t like jelly!) every day. It’s the best part of his day if I actually do make one for him.
My mom used to mix PB with sugar and make us sandwiches. Now that was yummy!
I LOVE peanut butter. I like peter pan and will probably start buying it again when it shows up in the stores. Right now I’m just buying kroger brand…I mean who can beat $1 a jar.

Don’t eat it a lot, but I do love it! Mine has to be crunchy, and the kids has to be creamy. And we definitely buy whatever’s cheapest.
I love no-bake cookies, too! And since you mentioned them, I’m probably going to be craving them until I just break down and make some!
And speaking of peanut butter, I just made Peanut Butter Date Muffins for supper last night.
Creamy Peter Pan or JIF. Love it! It is good on celery sticks too. I know, don’t think I am gross until you try it!

I love peanut butter but I have to have Skippy!! I always buy creamy so everyone will like it. I”d probably buy crunchy if I lived alone.
I put it on my whole wheat toast every other day and sometimes dip my granny smith apples in it. If I’m shaky because my blood sugar is low, I eat a spoonful.
Crunchy Peter Pan for me. Creamy Great Value for Vader. None for Jeff.
My Granddaddy taught me to eat it right out of the jar and that’s still my preferred way to eat it 🙂
I buy the creamy but really have to be in the right mood to eat it. I prefer it on crackers or in a Reeses!! I do love PB and oatmeal raisin cookies. I usually have PB just to make those!!
