Show Me Your Handbag Tag

I was tagged by Kim, over at Kim’s Candor, to participate in this “Show Me Your Handbag” tag that’s going around. So many of you guys have cute purses! I like purses ok, but I absolutely hate shopping for them! I will see a purse I like on someone else, but I can never seem to find one that I like and that fits me. I don’t want one that’s too big and I don’t want one that’s too small.

Here’s the purse (or handbag) that I’ve been carrying since I bought it for myself, for my birthday, last October:
Purse

Here’s another picture, with my PDA and phone in the front pockets… this is why I like this purse, and I’ve decided that this is a feature I want in any new purse I get in the future. I like having my phone in a front pocket where I can just know where it is and grab it. Before, I had my phone down in my purse and I would have to go digging for it, and it would drive me nuts. Now, I know it’s tucked up front in a pocket.

Purse

I won’t tag anyone specifically, but I’d love to see your purse, so feel free to play along if you’d like! Just leave me a comment so I can come see yours 🙂

Love the purse! Love the color too! I also love the pockets in front. This is what I need! I think I could stay organized better if I had pockets on the front for my phone!

  2. Carrie Said,

Very pretty purse! I like having my cell phone front and center, too! :o)

  3. rach Said,

That’s a lovely red leather handbag. It’s nice that it has useful pockets infront for important things.

  4. Susanne Said,

As soon as your site came up on my monitor I had a little intake of breath. Love, love love the purse. Love the style of it and the color is to die for! I love purses and I love to shop for them, but my problem comes with the funds to feed my little desire! :vD
If you come to my site you’ll see my bag. It’s a purple version of croc.

  5. Shawna Said,

I don’t carry a purse, just a mini-backpack that masquerades as a diaper bag! If I go out without Scamp, I stick everything in my pocket. I do own a couple of purses that others bought for me, and I carried them until they started looking ragged. It’s odd because I love bags. I would buy tons if I let myself fork out the money, but cute, frilly purses just don’t appeal to me. I do like bags with a lot of pockets and unique features. Love the red color of your bag!

  6. deb Said,

I love red purses and I like yours a lot! I have one red purse and you just reminded me to get it out of the closet, dust it off and take it out for a spin :))

    Have a great weekend!

  7. Gail Said,

Yep your red one is cute, way cuter than my red one! I’m ready for something new, I shoulda looked at Target today to see what they had gotten in!

  9. Dianne Said,

I’m like you – I need pockets in the front of my purse for easy access. Cute bag!

  10. JennaG Said,

I’m loving all these colorful purses. I must be so boring–I almost always carry black. I’m thinking I need to branch out a little.

  11. amy Said,

I have seen a lot of cute purses today!!

Just a reminder that the blogging scavenger hunt starts on Monday!

  12. shellsq Said,

Very cool purse!! Mine is boring.

I will tell you a funny though. My mom saw it the other day (I just changed from one to another). She said, “I have some black shoe polish if you want to touch that up.” I told her it was supposed to look distressed! She just said a very quiet, “oh”. LOL

  13. Kim Said,

I really like your purse. The red is great! I usually shove my phone in my pocket lately since I’m wearing a backpack most of the time. I don’t want to take it off every time the phone rings…all two times a week…LOL. I hope your weekend is going well.

  14. trista Said,

I like this purse! I played too!
