I don’t like short stories for some reason! Have a good day!
I don’t read short stories too often, but I do have a couple of the “Best American Short Stories” collections, and they make good bedtime reading for weeks when you know you’re going to be too tired to read for a long time. 🙂 If you are ever interested in trying a good short story collection, I highly recommend Jhumpa Lahiri’s “Interpreter of Maladies” – it was great.
I used to read short stories more in college… but I’m like you, I tend to stick with novels.
It’s hard to find good short stories. Oddly enough, I enjoy writing them, though there are times that I miss my characters and wonder how they are… I suppose that happens when I read them as well!
My answer is up here.
Oh…I forgot about Booking through Thursday today. Best get to it!
I’m with you though, definitely novels!
