Tim sent me an email earlier today that had some one-liners in them. Some of them were funny, some of them were crass, and a few even tried to be profound. This one was my favorite:
Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.
So, I guess that’s the thought for today!
Oh, and happiness for me is what I’m doing right now — sitting out on my deck, reading my book, listening to Tim and Beau play in the back yard, hearing the birds singing, then hearing the bells at the church nearby chime and play a hymn on the hour. I just realized that it’s not going to be dark soon, and I can read for a while longer before I have to go inside and cook supper. Sounds like heaven, n’est-ce pas?!
That almost makes up for how tired I am from “springing forward”! 😀 Is anyone else feeling the effects of the time change?
Yep always takes me a week or 2 to get adjusted…….I don’t like it and wish we’d just stay on “regular” time!
And I don’t speak me no French, cuz I’m all Southern you know! So what’s that there French mean!
normally, i don’t feel the time change but i had a hard time with this one for some reason. i wonder why…
YOur afternoon sounds lovely! very jealous!
I managed to sleep in later than usual both days so I don’t feel so bad. 🙂
I have no idea why but we don’t recognize DST here.
I think the time change is affecting me. I seem to be dragging a bit more than usual. I don’t like when they keep switching the clock around cuz it makes it hard for me to remember the time difference between me and my family overseas. Oh, well! Extra sunlight is nice.
Ahhh…you just made this girl slightly envious. Sounds like a heavenly way to spend an afternoon!
What a nice post..Your blog is great. I just started a contest on my blog if you are interested in some free fiction books. I would love an afternoon like that
It only takes me a couple of days. I think I am good now. I like the extra sunshine !!
I’m very jealous of you as well! It’s really nice here (as I commented on my blog) but not nice enough to sit on the deck!! Definitely heaven!
And I love your one-liner! 🙂
Sounds so peaceful! When I was growing up, there was a church near our house that would chime songs at certain hours. I haven’t thought of that in years, but I used to love hearing the chimes when I was outside.
I’m exhausted, but I’m not sure how much has to do with the time change, and how much has to do with my current condition. I know I could spend an entire day sleeping, that’s for sure!
I am really worked over on this time change. I think it’s because I am getting old. I swear I don’t think it used to phase me! I have been outside alot too. It was 78 here today!
I’m exhausted. Not sure if it’s because of the time change or Scamp’s napping schedule change. Probably both!
