I’ve got to scrub down our shower today. I try to do this once a week, and I hate doing it. I really have to get in the shower to scrub it down good, but I hate getting in there {gasp, naked} with all of those chemicals. I’ve tried spraying and scrubbing the shower walls (and shower door) down while fully clothed and I always end up getting wet. Today it’s really cold again, so I just take a really hot shower and scrub down the shower walls before getting my shower.
Today’s Question of the Day is a two-fer: Do you actually get *in* your shower to scrub it? And the biggie – do you sing in the shower? Not when you’re cleaning it, but on a regular day. On any given day, do you sing while you’re in the shower?
I never do, it’s just something I have never done. Singing at the top of my lungs while I’m dusting or vacuuming, or while I’m driving in my car is a completely different story, so I’ll save that question for another day. Today, tell us if you or anyone in your family sings while they’re in the shower. Tim does, on rare occasions, if he’s in a really good mood and has just heard a song he likes and is still singing it. Oops, he probably wouldn’t have wanted me to put that here! 😳
Leave me a comment and let me know!
I occassionally sing in the shower – usually praise & worship songs. I have those memorized. I don’t think I’ve ever heard Matt sing in the shower before.
I don’t get into the shower to clean it. The chemicals I use usually overwhelm me, and I have to ventilate the bathroon before I can take a shower in it.
ugh. i hate cleaning the shower. i stand outside the tub & scrub the shower though. but because i hate cleaning the shower so much, i squegee the shower walls down & spray the liner with that shower spray after every shower. when i am cleaning the shower, it is mostly wiping down the shelf surfaces & the sides of the tub itself.
no singing in the shower for me!
Jeff has to clean the shower! (Doctor’s orders) So, I don’t have to worry about it 🙂
Singing in the shower…well, I’ve been know to, but lately I just turn on the radio and listen while in the shower. It’s less scary to the doggie.
I dont sing in the shower and neither does my family…Madison sings Cheetah Girls songs alot. I have a little one and have to get in and out of the shower…I can barely get my legs shaved…LOL!
I don’t get into the shower to clean it….Scott cleans the tubs……every other day….well let me explain…we 2 bath rooms. Ours is cleaned oncea week…Madison and Miller’s gets cleaned out before Miller gets a bath…and he gets a bath every other day….so that is our schedule.
I don’t usually get in the shower to clean it. I just kind of spray it and then reach in and wipe. It is kind of hit or miss and doesn’t always get done as often as it should. That is probably why it looks the way it does. 🙁
I do sing in the shower on occasion. I have a little battery waterproof radio in there, so I definitely sing when I put that on. Otherwise, just when I have a song stuck in my head.
I sometimes get in the shower to clean it, but I’m always fully clothed, usually wearing my “cleaning” sweats. 😉 I still haven’t found a good method for it.
I sing in the shower occasionally. My husband does this cute “singing under his breath” thing when he’s in the bathroom that I love. I don’t even know if he realizes it. Hehe.
I’m usually able to sweet talk Rich into cleaning the shower. But when I do it, I have to get in or I can’t quite reach it all. (But I just can’t bring myself to do it naked…that whole chemical thing just freaks me out. And yep, I get soaked.)
But no to the singing. I’m with you…the car is the place that seems to make me want to belt one out.
I never sing in the shower. Heck, I haven’t had a shower since August – gasp! Since our tub went defecto and we decided to only take baths until we can get it fixed. So I don’t currently need to scrub either. 🙁 But I’d NEVER scrub naked! We used the daily shower thing and I’d scrub on the occasional Saturday when I could afford to get my clothes messed up.
LOL- I’m sure Tim would love that you shared that with us! 😛
I confess that I don’t clean our shower. Philip does that. I have a strong aversion to hair, and have always literally gagged when I have to clean the shower. So he has always done it for me, on a weekly basis. He usually cleans the tub from the outside, then he gets in and cleans the walls while he takes his shower.
I sing in the shower sometimes, but not always. It depends if there’s a song in my head or not. I don’t belt it out, though. Now G, he is a huge fan of singing LOUDLY in the shower! 😀 It’s hilarious.
This may be TMI but I used to date a guy who used to scrub the shower naked. Don’t ask me why! LOL!
I do NOT sing in the shower. The only place I sing out loud (my voice is horrible) is in the car when no one is with me! 😎
I don’t get in naked to scrub it either. I just spray with Kaboom and reach in to wipe it down. When I’m done, I go in for my shower and to rinse it.
The funny thing is my youngest. His bathroom is next to my mom’s room. He gets in there and blasts his music and you can hear him singing all the way downstairs! I get a chuckle every time. I think about my poor mom having to listen up close!
Have a great weekend!
Hi! The maid cleans the bathrooms once a week. I love singing in the shower but I don’t think I’ve ever heard my husband do so. Sometimes I wish we had a radio in the bathroom so I could sing along with the songs playing on air. LoL. You must think I’m terribly weird. 🙂
I clean my shower clothed and not. And I only sing in the shower when I feel like it. My shower doesn’t have the best acoustics so, lately I haven’t been.
Nope. No singing in the shower going on around here. You know, I’ve been married to Rob for 28 years and I’ve never ever heard him sing and he’s never ever heard me sing. He whistles. I dance. And I DO climb in to scrub the shower. I do it at least twice a year, need it or not, I love it so much. Sigh…..
I do it while I am in there – just seems easier.
And a big no on the singing.
I save my singing for in the car. As for cleaning the shower, I don’t climb in…but I am usually a mess when I get done.
