What is the price of unleaded gasoline where you live? Well, over the weekend it was about 1.96 everywhere around here. We filled up last week and it was a nightmare to watch it tick off that high. I hope it stops soon, but I’ve read it’s supposed to go to 2.10 or 2.15. Ouch.
How much does it take to fill up your tank? Hmm, I don’t let it get so low where the light comes on. I usually fill up once it gets under 1/4 of a tank. Then I really don’t pay attention to the gallons, just the price and then I let it pump till it’s full and it kicks off. Isn’t that sad, I don’t know how many gallons my tank will hold. 16 or 18 maybe? Tim would probably know. I know his truck has a much bigger tank than my car, and his costs an arm and a leg to fill up these days.
Well, I haven’t looked at the price since I’ve been home but the last time I looked it was like $1.99 a gallon I think! ouch is right!
And, it takes a lot to fill my tank! My suburban holds 42 gallons! A big OUCH! And I don’t like to let mine get below half before I fill up! Don laughs at me because I do that but if I wait til it’s like almost empty, I get too upset at how much it costs. And he always tells me it’s the same, whether I fill up at half or empty, eventually I’m still spending the same amount of money! Silly, but its just the way I do it.
