Well, I guess we’re as ready as we’re going to be for Halloween. Halloween is really not that big of a deal in our house. I love the candy, and I love all the fun aspects of the holiday, but since we don’t have kids, we really don’t do that much anymore. When we were first married, we carved pumpkins, and we used to dress up. Tim has dressed up several times in the past and scared both adults and children alike inside and outside our house. 
But, sadly, those days appear to be over. These days, Tim can’t really even be bothered to get up and go answer the door. Which is a moot point this year anyway, with his business trip.
So, we’re really not doing anything very Halloween-y today. I have some fall decorations out front, and a big bowl of candy ready to give out. I guess that’s about as good as it gets around here this year!

Love that bowl of candy. I finally bought some to take to our friend’s house. They get slammed with kiddos because of the Backyard, so I thought we’d pitch in with the candy this year. I sure hope that they give it all out. I don’t want to take any home! I’m still eating candy corn.
Well it’s raining here tonight so our turnout will be low probably. Mike is taking his nephew around so I”m left to pass out the candy. The enormous bowl of candy sitting here scares me – I am not going to touch a single piece and the rest is going to work tomorrow 🙂

We went out trick or treating for two hours tonight…G got two entire pumpkin-fulls of candy…about half of it is the really good stuff like yours! I can’t wait to raid it for him! 😛
Trick or Treat! Can I have a twix or a milky way? 😀 We took Joshua trick or treating for the first time. We were only out for about an hour, b/c it was cool out. It was fun! I will have some photos posted on my blog tomorrow.

My husband took my son trick-or-treating the other night and they had a terrific time. My son wore a blue Power Ranger costume. He proudly showed me his candy filled pumpkin basket after an eventful trick or treat. Pls. check my halloween photos when you have some extra time.
