Training Camp started yesterday! Tim’s beloved Saints are holding their training camp for the first time ever, here in our hometown. We’re both pretty excited (although, I think, he’s more excited than I am!) We’re headed out to the early AM practice today, and I’m going to take my camera and practice my sports mode and various photography skills. Maybe the AM practice will be cooler than the PM practice!

The Tennessee Titans are holding their training camp at the University here this year and I’ve been thinking of taking my son. The only major problem is that there is very little parking for visitors on the campus and almost no parking around it. It’s right in the middle of downtown.

We’ve enjoyed going to training camp many times in the past few years, especially since my uncle works and lives at the college where our team bases their camp. Well, I can tell you I WON’T be going this year because the crowds are expected to top 10,000 – probably because of the Superbowl win last year (which I say without bragging, because although I’m proud to be a S-fan, I respect and like most NFL teams). I’m so bummed though because I really enjoyed going up there. I just can’t fathom the crowds though.
