1. Favorite brand of jeans: I’m not brand loyal, mostly they just have to fit and be comfortable. My absolute favorite pair at the moment are JCrew jeans that I got last year at the outlet in TN.

2. Magazine you read regularly: Better Homes and Garden

3. If a button came off your clothing, could you sew it back on? Yes, but that’s about all I can do. And no guarantees that it would be sewn on very well.

4. Have you ever had a curfew? Yes, I think growing up I had one, probably through college

5. Most dangerous thing you’ve done: I’m not adventurous at all, but there was a time in college that I walked along a train trestle after midnight… I think. 😳

::Where’s the Server?::

Onesome: Where’s– the main event for you and yours next Thursday? Are you staying in? …or are you doing the “Over the river and through the woods” thing? Going to Gail’s. Looking forward to seeing all of the family! Especially the Texas branch, whom we haven’t seen in like, forever! 😀

Twosome: the– main course? If you had your way, what would be on your plate as you sat down for a Thanksgiving meal? I’m nothing if not totally traditional and routine-driven. I have never had a non-traditional Thanksgiving lunch. Always have turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce, broccoli casserole, sweet potatoes, etc. Love it, gotta have it.

Threesome: Server?– Who is the main server at your get together? Does one person run the show? …or do several people work together? Students: do you even get to go somewhere? Gail runs the show, because it’s at her house. I try to help, as do most everyone else, but Gail is the master at this kind of thing and very adept at it. She actually makes it look easy (even though I know it’s not!).

1. What is the first thing you did this morning? Had cereal and coffee (pecan praline flavor)

I swear, all the best memes are on Friday! Here’s another one I just found, over at Kelly’s blog, “The Woman Wonders”

1. Do you prefer to work out at home, outside, or the gym? I prefer to walk with Tim, our 2 mile route through the subdivision. My second choice is working out at home to exercise tapes/DVD’s.

2. Laundry soap, powder or liquid? Liquid for almost everything. I do keep a box of powder for washing towels we use outside or for mopping up messes. I use All Free & Clear, by the way, since we both have somewhat sensitive skin

3. While you are home (during the day and/or night) do you keep your doors locked or unlocked? I’m not asking about overnight, I am assuming we all lock our doors then. Yes! Tim can tell funny stories about this. He says I stay locked up in here like it was Fort Knox! I’ve even been known to lock him out during the day on the weekend, like on a Saturday if he’s working in the yard. I do it out of habit, I just automatically lock a door when I come inside!

4. Sock shoe, sock shoe OR sock sock, shoe shoe? Hmmm, probably a little of both. Mostly, I think I do sock, sock, shoe, shoe

5. Do you take any prescribed medicine on a DAILY basis? Yes, I take 2 prescribed meds and 2 over-the-counter ones (multivitamin and calcium chewie thing) every day.

2. Who has made you smile recently? Tim. Always. Every day. Over and over again.

3. What’s the weather like outside? Beautiful. I’m so glad we’re finally getting fall-like weather. It’s been in the upper 30’s at night this week, and upper 60’s during the day. Just gorgeous!

4. Do you consider youself a good judge of character? No. I can’t read people at all. I’m totally nieve and trusting. I defer to and trust Tim completely on this type of thing though. He sizes up people really well and can read them very quickly.

5. What’s your favorite photograph? Any picture of me and Tim!

Folgers Fridays

1. Are you a coffee or tea hound? If so, what is your favorite everyday poison? Well, when I met Tim, I wouldn’t touch tea or coffee with a ten foot pole. I learned to drink sweet tea the year we dated, and held out on coffee till last year. Now, I drink both. I could probably live without them, but I have learned to really like both through the years. 🙂

2. Are you a Starbucks fan, or another brand? I like Starbucks, but I’m not enough of a coffee connoiseur to tell the difference. I have to add so much Splenda and creamer to mine that it doesn’t matter what the coffee was to begin with! We drink Community at home. Tried Starbucks, but for the nearly $4 more per bag, we are happy to keep drinking Community dark roast.

3. If you are a coffee drinker, brewed or instant? If you prefer tea, loose or bagged? Brewed coffee, we don’t do decaf or instant. Tea, I always use bags. Don’t have a clue how to measure and strain and steep the loose leaves!

4. What is your average daily intake? I usually have tea with lunch, and on weekends, I have at least 2 cups of coffee with Tim. Here lately, with it cool in the mornings, I have been having coffee almost every day, whether he is home or not!
