Sort of a sweet and sour chicken... only cooks a short time in the crockpot

Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 can cranberry sauce 
1 cup French or Catalina salad dressing (I use low fat)
1 envelope onion soup mix
Directions:
  1. Put chicken into crockpot, mix up the rest of the ingredients and pour over chicken. Cook on low for 5-6 hours.

  2. NOTE: This is kind of a sweet/sour thing, I serve it over steamed rice with a touch of soy sauce

  3. Stacy's Notes - Made Nov 2002. This was good. I used 2 boneless, skinless breasts (next time try with bone-in breasts) and regular, not chunky, cranberry sauce. I halved everything else and served with rice (the sauce makes a good gravy).
