Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt (I used a little less)
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 1/4 cups milk (I used a tad less, like them thicker)
1 egg
3 tablespoons butter, melted
vanilla (my addition, a capful, maybe 1/2 teaspoon?)
Directions:
  1. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter; mix until smooth.

  2. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot.

  3. Stacy's Notes: Made these July 2016. I have a lot more flour on hand than Bisquick, so checked AllRecipes for a recipe using AP flour. Found and tried this, pretty good. I added a little less milk (was running low) and a capful of vanilla with the wet ingredients. Buttered my cast iron griddle and made on there for breakfast one morning with eggs. (My stove was on low-med low, not medium high, they would have burnt to a crisp!) This made about 6-8 good sized pancakes, enough for us for breakfast with 3 leftover for Tim a second morning.
