Ingredients:

1 cup water
2 tablespoons margarine
2 tablespoons honey
2 cups bread flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/3 cup dry milk powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
Directions:
  1. Put ingredients into bread machine in the order suggested by the manufacturer. Process for large (1-1/2 pound) loaf, wheat setting.

  2. Stacy's Notes - tried for the first time August 2010. Made recipe exactly as written on AllRecipes, although there are a lot of comments about using more wheat flour, it falling in the middle, etc. I did add 4 t. vital wheat gluten to the dough before putting in my bread machine. Rolled out dough, and put in metal Calphalon bread pan. After rising in a warm oven, I baked in my oven at 325 degrees for about 30-32 minutes.

  3. Stacy's Notes - Made May 2014 and used the bread machine for the whole process. Used everything as directed, plus added 3-4 teaspoons of vital wheat gluten. Did not use the wheat setting, used regular basic white setting, 1 1/2 lb and medium toast. Rose to the top and was nice and brown and crusty, so either use medium or light crust next time. Good, make again!

So, did you put this in bread machine on dough setting? Then just let it go through dough cycle and take out?

Gail - yes, I put it in my bread machine on dough setting. I do that with almost 100% of the breads I make. One day I want to use my Kitchen-Aid and an old fashioned rise method, but I haven't gotten that industrious!
