Ingredients:

1/4 cup warm water
1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 ham steak
Directions:
  1. Whisk water and cornstarch together in a medium size bowl to prevent splashing.

  2. Add brown sugar, maple syrup, honey, and salt and stir until blended.

  3. Pour over ham steak and bake for 20 minutes.

  4. Slice ham, and spoon glaze from the bottom of the pan over slices.

  5. Stacy's Notes: Made September 2008 to use on a single slice of center cut ham that I buy in the grocery. I used more cornstarch than this called for (mixed it up as called for first and it looked thin, so I whisked in some more). I just warmed this up in my skillet before adding my ham steak and then flipped my steak several times to soak up the sauce. Very good flavor. I'll definitely do this again with a piece of ham.
