Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
1 egg slightly beaten
3/4 cup Italian seasoned dry bread crumbs
1 jar (26 or 28 oz.) Ragu pasta sauce
1 cup cheese (parmesan or mozzarella)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Dip chicken in egg, then bread crumbs, coating well. In 13 x 9 inch glass baking dish, arrange chicken. Bake uncovered 20 minutes.
Pour Ragu over chicken, then top with cheese. Bake and additional 10 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink.
Amanda's Notes: I have tried this with several different kinds of cheese and it has always been good. I usually serve it over Rice A Roni Angel Hair pasta. It is delicious!
